Breakfast choice was excellent although fried eggs were hard. Room was nice clean and comfortable. Gym and pool facilities were excellent (although we didn't use them)

The hotel is conveniently situated on the Banbury Road. It is clean, pleasant with a good breakfast but the best thing about the Remont is the staff that go out of their way to make you comfortable. We felt very welcome and we would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't want to pay the seasonally high prices of hotels in town.

Breakfast was as indicated; a continental breakfast. The food was mostly good, but the butter was not very nice, tasting almost like margarine. The location was excellent, a 2km walk into the centre of Oxford.

Having spoken with Panshill, I find that there is no milk provided as part of my deal - previously, I must have used the milk left behind by other guests - and the missing bath towel was probably removed by another guest. Under the circumstances I am prepared to retract my complaint and confirm that Panshill continues to be a perfectly good place to stay. Philip
