Everything! they had certainly covered all areas from a fantastic breakfast 😋 to live music . The beer garden was beautiful what views 😍. The staff could not do enough for you that really had thought about everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Food was amazing 😋 x

Clean comfortable rooms quite hot in them but a fan was provided. Kettle in room for tea and coffee and 2 small bottles of water which was replaced daily, Breakfast was excellent, Nice pub garden and bar area.

Town centre very quiet with not a lot in it but quiet reasonably picturesque. Very nice Indian restaurant at night, excellent cafe for breakfast. Really nice walking along by the canal. OK to use as a base.

Loved the place it was OK for our stay and we could compare both rooms one was bijou and modern for our daughters and ours a large family suite. Middlewich is quite a picturesque town with some pretty buildings and good walking along the canal; it also boasts good supermarkets and other facilities. It's a short drive from tourist attractions such as Chester city centre, Chester zoo, Beeston Castle, Northwich and the Anderton Boat Lift, so a good base from which to explore Cheshire.

The first night there was a roudy party which went on until 2 am in a nearby room, we had difficulty rousing the proprietor to assist in ending this. In the morning we were told there was no breakfast available due to "the chef being ill". No offer of a refund in this respect was offered although we did ask for one which has never been received.
