Lovely charming cottage, full of character and in a great location. The mountain scenery is beautiful. There is a pub over the road and cafe a short walk away. We had everything we needed and Alex the host was very friendly and welcoming and made sure the heating was on for our arrival. Communication prior to our arrival was really good. Very dog friendly - would stay again!

Traditional country house accomodation.....in peaceful setting. Attentive staff. Lovely rooms ..We stayed in "Idris" . Breakfast service superb. Had an evening meal in Lounge which was also very good. If you're looking to stay in this beautiful area and want something a bit more special would recommend. 10/10

We used the White Lion as a base for exploring local walks. Really friendly welcome at reception. Rooms were very clean and actually really good size for a single. Bathroom was lovely too. We didn't eat in the evening but did use the bar, very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Breakfast was lovely and had a great selection on offer and served super fast. Would absolutely use this place again for exploring local area. Parking on site and generally just ticked every box for us.
