Location fabulous. Staff attentive. Food really good. Accommodation very comfortable throughout the hotel, its spacious with various areas to sit ie bar or quiet room. Room was perfect had a fantastic view. I have visited several times and always enjoy my stay. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. the Izaak has that 'homely feel' about it, so you feel as though you have had a relaxing break away. I didnt want to leave and will return ............very soon thank you to all the staff you do a wonderful job

A truly amazing place to stay. We were with friends and all of us would highly recommend a return visit. Made to feel very welcome. The bedroom was excellent, clean and comfortable. We were treated as though we were personal guests and had the use of an imposing lounge complete with log fire. The breakfast was very good. We wished that we could have stayed longer.

A 'new build' with good quality new looking furniture (May 2024) fully equipped kitchen (though we only used the kettle). The unseen host supplied us milk (thank you). Parking right outside, the centre of town 10 minutes stroll, the park five minutes away. Good bed linen and towels...
