We stayed in Lascelles and this room didn't disappoint! The jacuzzi in the front bay window with the incredible view of the gardens is just perfect. The 4 poster bed is huge and i recommend you keep the curtains open so you wake up to the sun rise over the hills

We received a warm welcome when we arrived, and taken to our room. It was beautifully appointed, stylish and accommodating. It was almost like being in a private house. There was a generous supply of tea/coffee/biscuits. The ensuite facilities were excellent. The beds were comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent also, with good quality food well prepared.

Extremely clean and welcoming. A lovely gift was left for us to welcome us to the property from Quan, the owner. It was great having an on-suite and a bathroom. Everything we needed was in the property. Great location.

Knaresborough is a beautiful historic town.
Knaresborough is a beautiful historic town. The castle ruins are well worth a visit, and entrance to the grounds is free. The gorge through which the River Nidd flows is breathtaking, and there is an attractive path alongside it. Boating is a popular pastime. The town is well supplied with coffee shops and pubs, with some restaurants as well. The market place is good for sitting down and watching the world go by on a pleasant day, and there are references to two characters from the town's history, Old Mother Shipton and Blind Jack.

We loved our weekend in Knaresborough at the Christmas...
We loved our weekend in Knaresborough at the Christmas market and I would certainly recommend anyone to visit. There are plenty of places to eat and drink and lots of privately owned shops which is a bonus these days. A walk along the river is a must with a cafe to pop in for a hot chocolate when it’s chilly!

Reviewing as a couple in our mid 70’s. The riverside at
Knarseborough is lovely, many cafes and restaurants to
Choose from. If you visit the castle ruins first and want
To get down to the riverside there are lots of deep stone
Steps to manage.
Great location just next to the train station so easy access if you don't want to use a car. Parking provision nearby was fine. Friendly and helpful staff who had a laugh with us. Breakfast could have been better but I think there was a staff issue that was temporary so no problem. We enjoyed our stay with our friends and would certainly go again, perhaps using the train system to get there. Knaresborough is a lovely town - good pubs and restaurants and we found plenty of walking by the river and up to the castle.
Everything about this hotel is perfect. From the warm friendly greeting you get on arrival from Karen, the comfy beds to sleep in, the pillows on the bed that your head just sinks into. the little complimentary bottle in the bathroom. Fresh milk for tea and coffee. Biscuits and chocolates on your tea tray. All the rooms are bright and airy. The breakfast is cooked to whatever you order no matter how big or small. there is nothing i would change about this hotel at all
Well what can we say. This by far the nicest cottage we have stayed in. The location, cleanliness and fittings were fantastic. Whether you are looking for a base to explore Knaresborough as we were or as a base to explore the wider area I would highly recommend Dove Cottage. It is also dog friendly which our Pug cross Jack was very happy about. This is a credit to the owners. Thank you for a lovely break.
The friendly staffs were present and available for any assistance needed. It appears the property was recently renovated, so everything is updated. Attention to details in all areas. Breakfast menu is extensive and food was tasty. Very large and comfortable living room area. The bedroom is spacious. Very good location, close to train station, town center and a lot of attractions.
The property was located centrally in town, and close to the rail and bus station.
Having a good sized lounge area made a difference in living space for my longer stay.
The apartment also had a great waterfall shower and basic, but sufficient kitchen facilities.
Milk, Bread and butter provided when I arrived was also appreciated
We loved the Potting Shed, it is in a private secure area only a few minutes walk to all the town centre but very quiet. Great hosts and we really enjoyed Mao's Thai meal and the Aragon's fish and chips. A great location for busses to Harrogate and trains to York. We would recommend the Mitre pub for a quiet drink.
The breakfast was very high standard with exemplary service from friendly local waitress. The hotel is perfect location to explore Harrogate York and the Dales. Local bus service is frequent and covers large area. Local pubs with outside space in Knaresborough are of very high standard
The location is spot on right in town centre. The long stay car parks are a ten minute walk and very cheap for a 24 hour stay. The apartment has everything you need with complementary tea and milk. I have no reason to stay anywhere else when I visit Knaresborough
Very well presented, and well equipped. Towels and robes were provided for use of the hot tub. Location is great for short walk into town centre. The hosts left us a nice touch of a welcome basket and hot tub was up to temp ready for our arrival.
The caravan was exceptionally clean and comfortable to stay in. The site is a good base for visiting Knaresborough, Harrogate, York and the Yorkshire Dales. Nice walk into Knaresborough with plenty of places to eat and drink.
The location is in a pleasant village of Ferensby and there is plenty of car parking the service at the Hotel is friendly and helpful.
The breakfasts are excellent and altogether a place I would certainly go back to
Location is perfect for visiting knaresborough and surrounding area. Caravan site was lovely and quiet on a night even on a busy summer weekend. The fan in the Caravan was great in this heatwave! :)
The hotel is beautifully decorated in a perfect position in Knaresborough. Rooms were imaculate and very comfortable. Staff were very nice, breakfast was buffet and beautiful. Plenty of parking
The breakfast was a basic continental, but quite sufficient and the whole package was a very good price. The location is good within fairly easy walking distance of the town centre.
Hotel was very comfortable and the food was excellent. The location within walking distance of the main attractions in Knaresborough was brilliant. Parking was very easy.
