Looking out over the River Severn in the centre of Ironbridge, The White Hart Inn offers well-appointed en suite rooms and a bar and restaurant.

The hotel is well situated on the riverbank. Breakfast and dinner were of a high standard and the waiting and kitchen staff could not have been more helpful in adapting dishes to suit dietary needs. A pleasant bar with a good selection of local beers.

Calcutts House, hotel in Ironbridge

This 18th Century property provides bed and breakfast accommodation with 4-star luxury.

The breakfast was brilliant. My colleague was very impressed with the sausages. James (the owner) was very helpful. We asked for an early breakfast, 07.45 instead of 08.30, and it wasn’t a problem. We’re planning to go next year too. We’ll book once the conference dates are announced.

The Library House B&B, hotel in Ironbridge

The Library House B&B is a Georgian townhouse dating back to 1735 and offers accommodation in the heart of Ironbridge.

Cannot speak highly enough of the Library House and our hosts, Sarah & Tim. The Library House is beautiful, comfortable and full of history. We stayed in the Chaucer Room with access to the beautifully maintained garden. Our room was spotless, with every little detail thought of. The breakfast Room and lounge are charming. Our breakfasts were amazing! We were made to feel very welcome. Would highly recommended as a wonderful place to stay if visiting Ironbridge.

Lovely warm welcome from Tom, who made us feel very at home. The bed and room were very comfortable and shower great and hot. Breakfast was superb. Loved the location away from it all and on the edge of the forest.

Always loved Iron Bridge.Plenty to do and loads of places to see All within 1 to 3 miles. Go to the George Museum and by a museum multi pass, you save a lot especially with family pass. There are seven museum sites . Coalport, Blisthill, Tile museum are top ove my list. Much more to see. Great river and country walks.plenty pubs and Good restaurants. Always something going on.

We did not access the property. We knew there was no point . We had to find alternative accommodation at huge cost and inconvenience. The property was up a steep narrow road, unsuitable for people with mobility issues to walk. There was no reference to this on booking.com website. The car park was situated more than a 5 minute walk away at the bottom and over the road. This was impossible for elderly and disabled to walk to and from. Taking the car up and down would have caused stress as the road does not allow for 2 cars to pass. None of this was explained in the information. Our break was ruined because of serious omissions

This was the third time we had visited the area. Apart from all the museums there is much to see in the area, from various potteries to the Long Mind area of Shropshire - so different from where we live in rural Norfolk.

So much to see in just a few square miles - the people are exceptionally friendly and helpful. If visiting the attractions for a holiday of a few days or more, get a Pass Plus ticket to enable a year of visiting all of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage sites, with free parking at the museum sites at Blists Hill, Coalport, Jackfield and Coalbrookdale, together with reductions in the museum retail outlets and cafes. Visited twice in the past year from Manchester, once in September and again in February. Plenty of good pubs, cafes and places to eat and drink in Ironbridge too, making for a fantastic short break!

This is a lovely quirky B&B - not at all like a standard budget chain hotel. Our room 5, had comfy twin beds and had a spacious bathroom just for our use. across the corridor. A very minor inconvenience, but we were aware of this when booking. Tom, the host, was great and very keen to make sure that we were had everything we needed. He also whips up a great cooked breakfast using quality ingredients. Its walkable to the Ironbridge, though we chose to drive to the large car park just down the road. We would definitely use again.

Comfy room in historic Inn , well located near the river and within walking distance of the famous bridge + local shops. Full breakfast included at sister pub nearby, good value for money. We also indulged in an evening meal at The Swan which was a well loaded plate full at a reasonable price. In the middle of the night all is still and quiet- we heard owls hooting in the woods across the river + the mighty Severn itself whispering past only about 15 yards away. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay again.

The flat was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. In general it was well equipped for self catering though some kitchen scissors and a couple of storage boxes would have been useful. Also more tea towels. An easy walk down to Ironbridge - though harder coming back up! (However the museums are quite spread out so if you want to do several in one day, you need a car). The little sitting room was great spot for an afternoon cup of tea or a glass of wine

Beautiful location with wonderful staff. The hotel itself is an interesting old building but our room had a newly renovated modern bathroom. Breakfasts were simple but delicious. The bar area was a classy place to go for an evening drink. There were plenty of parking spaces but the walk to Ironbridge is short and extremely pleasant. Definitely a good three star hotel. A modest renovation could easily make this a four or five star.

Lovely quirky place to stay with excellent parking. It has a central location in Broseley, very close to pubs and restaurants. We enjoyed a great Indian meal at Zengh and we visited the Butchers Kitchen twice. We recommend the Shropshire Pie at Butchers Kitchen. Only two miles from Ironbridge Gorge. Laura was very friendly and helpful before and during our stay. Good places to walk the dog nearby.

landmark building in Ironbridge practically on top of the bridge. Great for access to the town and nearby attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is in the middle of a refurbishment. Our room had been completed and was fantastic - clean, comfortable, and with lots of space. Looking forward to returning to see how the project is coming along!

Breakfast was not provided as self catering but we like to thank the hosts for leaving fresh milk in the fridge together with all items for us to make tea or coffee. We liked the layout of the property and everything looked fresh and new. Parking space was very near to the entrance/exit to the building. An excellent place to stay in a quiet location.
