Lovely apartment right in the centre of Hexham but quiet as little traffic and 2 floors up. Extremely comfortable and well furnished. Walking distance to everything we needed; restaurants, pubs and even an independent cinema. Excellent location for visiting and walking Hadrian's Wall. We used public transport which took us everywhere we wanted to go.
Errington House is located in Hexham and features a garden. The rooms have garden views. At the bed and breakfast, the rooms come with a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom.

Excellent location in heart of Hexham.
Very reasonably priced. Biggest bed we've ever slept in 😄. The whole place looked as through recently refurbished.
Staff were delightful friendly & highly motivated especially the breakfast ladies.....a joy!

Great little Roman inspired town just 5 miles south of Hadrians Wall. The Abbey and it's grounds dominates the town. Many indepent shops to browse in plus well known retailers in the nearby retail parks, Enjoyed the Country Park alongside the River Tyne. Would have been great to see salmon leaping up the weir when spawning season begins. Wentworth car park with it's 24 hour white bays is perfectly located close to the town. The Abbey guide recommended nearby Corbridge to visit but we didn't have time this visit.

It is quite an interesting place in parts mainly round the market square, the abbey, old jail and the pleasure gardens but the downside is the large supermarket area and nearby chop board factory belching out smoke continually. Some interesting little shops too.

Hexham is a beautiful place, very picturesque.
Hexham is a beautiful place, very picturesque. I was visiting for a friend's wedding and didn't have a lot of opportunity to explore but I'd definitely like to visit again in the future. There was a variety of shops and the town itself is very peaceful. I visited the town's Wetherspoons and found it to be very welcoming with friendly people. I would definitely recommend a visit!

What a lovely town! Reminded me of Harrogate.

Lots of lovely independent shops, particularly a book shop which was an absolute delight. Couldn’t find a yarn shop though. Hexham Abbey is a beautiful building and part of an active parish with good choirs and an excellent organ. Great place to explore Hadrian’s Wall, the reason we were there.

Hexham is a lovely town with friendly people and great local shops and pubs. We only had one evening there and had to leave early Sunday morning before we had a chance to explore the lovely shops. We did see the Abbey and there was a brilliant exhibition there with great interactive activities for children.
We ate at the Heart of Northumberland pub and the food and service was fantastic. We stayed at the Beaumont and had breakfast there, which was really delicious.
Hexham is also great for access to Hadrian’s wall. We definitely could have stayed longer.

Historic place, down to earth folk, still good value for money, just about holding the gentrification, avocado smashed or otherwise, at bay. See it before the cost of a coffee exceeds a pack of smokes.
Vine Cottage was a lovely place to stay: spotlessly clean; well-appointed, from new appliances to essential items and little extras such as games and books; prettily furnished; and in a central location for exploring Hexham on foot. (I did not have a car, but restaurants, shops, train station and sites were in easy walking distance.) When I arrived, I found cake, fresh flowers and note from the owners to welcome me. I wish every holiday rental were like this!
Such a beautiful little property, combining character with comfort. The hosts provide so much and it is spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds, modern kitchen and shower room. Lovely log burner which we lit on both our evenings there. Great location close to Hexham and Hadrian's Wall. Food options within walking distance in the village - although the kitchen is so well equipped that we cooked and ate in.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The mattress and bedding were comfortable and clean. The train station is across the street, and it's just a short walk to the center of town (cafés, shops, and Hexham Abbey). Breakfast in the morning was wonderful, and I really appreciated that I could leave my bag while attending an all-day conference. Would definitely stay again.

The property is lovely and offered everything it said it would. Nice clean room, great coffee in the room!
If you like peace and quiet it is the place for you!
Just a word of caution re the Boat Inn nearby - it closes its kitchen at 7.30pm!! So if you are planning on an evening meal after that time then you need to go into Hexham.
Room and bathroom are excellent and everything with the hotel was very good.
There is no parking at the hotel where and how you park near by needs to ne explained a little better. However there is plenty of parking in Hexham
We had a very comfortable three days at the coach and horses
This was a very pleasant surprise after being overseas for 2 years to come to Hexham and get real quality food, accommodation and service befitting a 5 star hotel. For our family Christmas meal they looked after my father who is elderly and we had a memorable day.
Well placed inn, deep in northern countryside and super for access to a very wide range of attractions and walks. We were at a wedding in and arson’s Hexham so couldn’t have been better. Much better than I had imagined it would be - a very good stay indeed.
Location to centre of town good quiet street with on street parking, we found a parking space straight away.
Good train service to get a bit further afield as we didn't want to drive out.
Very friendly people, plenty of bars and restaurants in Hexham.
The hotel was very clean and the facilities were excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. We stayed in a Deluxe room which was excellent with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. I would definitely stay here again.
The house was convenietly situated right in the heart of Hexham. It was very attractive and comfortable . There was some bread, jamand milk to welcome us. The landlady was friendly and helpful. The parking space allocated was really helpful.
You can't find nothing better in this price range in Hexham. Hotel with local amenities and main roads in close proximitity. Friendly staff, clean rooms and superb breakfast there is nothing more to ask after whole day of touring.
The location was excellent for our appointment in Corbridge and the owner of the hotel kindly took us into town, after providing a lovely breakfast. The beds were extremely comfortable too. Thank you again Carolyn & hubby.
The restaurant staff were excellent however the reception area staff watched as we struggled with our bags to the far end of the hotel, via the garden in very inclement weather. Offering no help.
Lovely decorated property like you were in a fancy hotel and with a garden too. I liked having two key safes. Location was good for Hexham centre and park close for dog walking
Staff super friendly very accommodating to any requests at the Bar/reception etc .Nice walks along river .Dogs allowed in bar area not restaurants and very friendly to them
It was nice to stay at a cozy non chain hotel. The bathroom was the largest we had since leaving my house. Even though it was above a pub it was very quiet.
