Peaceful and Stunning Waterside Location, hotel in Helensburgh

Located in Helensburgh in the Argyll and Bute region, Peaceful and Stunning Waterside Location provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

A beautiful location, sadly I was working and didn't get the chance to experience it as much as I would have liked. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, responding quickly to any issues I raised. This included staying on the phone with me as I found my way to the property. They have made great use of a fairly limited space although the internal spiral staircase is pretty tight if you want to carry anything down from the bedroom or kitchen

Helensburgh is a pretty town with plenty of good eating places and pubs. It has a very picturesque waterfront with ample seating. There is a large leisure centre with gym and a swimming pool or you can just sit in the cafe. There are public toilets on the pier. There are 3 well known supermarkets, but preferably use the local butchers, fishmongers and greengrocers. A regular bus service runs through the town, but there is also plenty of free street parking and a couple of good size carparks. Because of its location Helensburgh is a great for exploring further afield.

Helensburgh is a charming Victorian seaside town on the Firth of Clyde. It has excellent facilities for such a small place. If you don't have a car, everything you need is in the town. If you do have a car, it is a wonderful base for touring, with the beautiful hills and glens of the highlands on your doorstep.

Helensburgh is a fairly big town with a variety of shops and restaurants. There is an 'open' feel to the place, the roads are wide with big pavements. We went to the Ruby a Chinese restaurant which was very nice with friendly staff. The second night we went to the Mare Mire which had lovely pizzas and Italian food. The local people are friendly. Helensburgh is ideally situated to explore the west of Scotland

Excellent place for a relaxing time! I stayed 2 nights to escape a little bit from Glasgow and to go on small trips in the area. Clyde Sea View Helensburgh is a lovely place to stay! My room was spacious and clean and the bed was extra comfy. There is a spacious living room, dining area and an outdoor terrace with beautiful view to the sea and a nice garden. Owner is nice and helpful and makes sure guests are well looked after. Rhu Marine and Helensburgh city centre are both about 15 minutes walk. Would recommend this place!

We liked the wonderful warm welcome given by our hosts. It is a beautiful large Victoria villa with impressive gardens, our room was amazing, much bigger than we had anticipated and far exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and the bed was warm and comfy, so nice nicely made up it was a shame to get in it! Lovely dining room where we were served a nicely cooked breakfast in the morning, and with excellent home made Crab Apple jam made by Lesley. If we ever visit the area again we would not hesitate to return 😄😄

Everything was lovely. The warm welcome and drinks in the conservatory on arrival were very much appreciated. The property had been well thought out, very clean with comfortable rooms and a beautiful garden. Anne and John were super hosts and gave great advice with regards the area and places to go. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We found a super local tapas bar for our evening meals with great food and friendly staff. Loved our stay.

The flat was faultless. It had everything you could possibly need for the stay and the host had also thoughtfully left towels, treats, bowls and blankets for the dog, as well as milk, butter, homemade cookies, coffee pods and even pastries. A lovely touch. There was loads of space and the bed was perfect especially for those with bad backs! It was a great base to visit the area. We would definitely recommend it and would book again.

I love history, so an opportunity to stay in a house like this is a rare treat. if you want boring-box hotel room then it's not for you. If you want character it absolutely fantastic. High ceilings, original features, stately feel in abundance. It's close enough to walk into Helensburgh, which has lots of amenities and some great places to eat out. Close to the shoreline for a nice stroll. Lovely quiet area. Very relaxing.

Ideally situated in the middle of town adjacent to car park & conveniently close to railway station. Staff extremely friendly & welcoming. Everyone we met went the extra mile to make our stay perfect. Comfortable stylish boutique-style bedroom with up-market accessories. Breakfast choices were extraordinarily good & cooked to perfection. Very dog friendly property with separate dog-free dining area too.

I didn't go to breakfast. It was too early for me. But on my last day, it was brought to me since I was still packing to meet the checkout deadline. The staff in this place, especially Laura, were wonderful. They went overboard to make my stay special. They have the best bathrooms in Scotland. The showers have real doors, so water doesn't spray all over.

Liz has such a beautiful house and ensures you have everything you could ever need! She put out a continental breakfast for us in the morning and there were so many options. Could not have asked for anything else while staying there, if we are ever back in the area we will for sure be staying here!
