Loved the rooms with the high ceilings, it felt like I was in a castle.
The Scottish Breakfast was fab!
Also the lift was very cool and old fashioned, never seen one like it.
Overall the hotel had a lot of character and the stay was great

It’s a super wee village with all the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants you would want. Close to woodland walks from the town and short drive to the river and mountains of the Cairngorms a more relaxed feel than the nearby town of Aviemore.

A beautiful area with ancient forest, a local honey maker, an amazing selection of local shops - refillery, bookshop, stationery shop, big supermarket. This is a lovely place to stay to explore the Cairngorm national park. Easy to drive to highlights like Rothy Murchus and Loch Garten. Rooms are spacious enough, spotlessly clean and well equipped. the Guest House is surrounded by a lovely garden in a quiet area nearer a Forest and short walking distance to shop and main road.
