The Gables is set in 2 acres of gardens outside Duddo, surrounded by the Cheviot Hills. This family-run bed and breakfast is housed in a charming Victorian villa, once a vicarage.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Incredible suggestions for food and exploring from Angus and Claire. Wonderful room, furnishings and information about area history. Can’t recommend it enough.

A lovely hotel, super comfy beds and Kristie and the team really look after you. This was our 5th visit and certainly won’t be our last.

    Everything was great with the accommodation, the owner was very welcoming. Breakfast was lovely. Told us places we may want to visit, very helpful. Just a lovely place to stay. Would definitely recommend. Lots of places to see, easy to get to.

    Small village out in the country.

    Small village out in the country. Red Lion in Milfield did exceptional meals. Would have liked to spend more time in order to explore. Plan to use this as a base for a golfing holiday in the future.

    If you like to be in a remote setting, Duddo couldn't be...

    If you like to be in a remote setting, Duddo couldn't be better. Wildlife at every turn and stunning countryside. You can walk for hours and not see a soul. Great base for visiting Lindisfarne, Hadrians Wall and the beautiful Northumberland beaches.
