Location is great for walks around Boxhill if that's what you need. Hotel was lovely. Room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was buffet so you can eat as much as you like! It was brilliant and lots of choice. Near to a train station as well and a local cafe. It is a trek up to the top of Boxhill but so worth it. Staff were great. No issues at all.

The hotel was very cold, including corridors and public areas. There was a fireplace with plenty of wood, but nobody had made a fire, which would have been very welcome!!
The room was extremely cold and the handrail in the bathroom only heated up half way, the other part was stone cold.

We stayed in a country manor house completely surrounded by fields and public pathways. Great location for those who like to explore the countryside. We did not make it into town, but driving through it looked lovely and wish we could have stayed longer to explore more of Dorking. Would go back again.
We had meals in Wotton Hatch Pub, and Abinger Hatch Pub - delicious food and very friendly staff. Both beautiful country pubs and well worth a visit.

Loved Dorking..feels like you’re in a market town by the coast
Lots of antique shops
Great little market by the church and car parking
I could live here in a instant
Pedestrian crossings super fast once pressed so no hanging around to get across the roads
Very dog friendly
Very people friendly ❤️
The location is quite unusual being situated in a working vineyard and it's far enough from the main road for it not to be noisy. It's great being able to go on walks straight from the hotel and yet be within a short drive from Dorking town. The room was comfortable and well equipped, and the dining area was also a very nice space both during the day and in the evening. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful and accommodating. It was lovely to have a bed, towel and bowls provided for my dog.
Atmosphere: very relaxing, quietly surrounded by grape trees, sounds of trees and birds, feel like you came to a small vineyard village in France
Location: simply 1 hour away from London
Attraction: interesting and educational tours about winemaking, not just a hotel to eat and sleep
Staff: overall nice, but the guy who takes you winemaking tour is very knowledgeable and friendly. We had fantastic time with him.
Chart House is an absolutely adorable place. Jill is a lovely and amazing host. I loved everything about this stay. I was attending the Dorking Wanderers v York City game so I hope we are both in the same division next season so I can return !
The town centre is only 5 minutes walk away and Dorking is a lovely town with plenty of places to eat and drink.
I look forward to my next visit. Highly recommend.
Location and accommodations are spectacular. Conveniently located a short train ride from Gatwick Airport. Dorking is a beautiful old market town with excellent restaurants and the surrounding hills are amazing.
Chart House facilities are newly renovated and kept clean. The backyard offers plenty of quiet places for relaxation. This place was not lacking in anything.
Lovely spacious lounge, dining, kitchen room. Good facilities in that room. TV, kitchen facilities, lighting, dining table/chairs all good. Tea, coffee, sugar provided. Comfortable double room. Looks like facilities/linen etc all pretty new. Very nice and clean. Good Wifi. Walking distance to many useful locations in Dorking.
Good location outside of London. Train or tube to London is about an hour. Stations are walkable. Easy train to Gatwick airport. Clean and comfortable. Beautiful flat, great view, kitchen facilities are usable. Everything is provided. Host is easily accessible and responsive.
The location of the hotel is very quant and in a very pretty area. The pub offered a great variety of food, we had both dinner and breakfast and both meals were great. The staff are also very welcoming and helpful.
