A wonderful old pub in a beautiful hamlet - the rooms were very comfortable and clean, the meals were superb and there was an excellent choice of local beers! Mark & his wife were perfect hosts - and of course Captain the parrot was an added bonus!

The place, the views, the environment here are fantastic. Nicola, our host, is so kind, polite, attentive, and approachable. She recommended many interesting places to visit in the surroundings, which greatly helped to enjoy Devon.
The room was cosy, comfy, a nice place to rest and relax.
