The property looked exactly like the pics. It was very charming. I love the exposed beams and walls giving it lots of character. It was nice and spacious for the two of us. The bath is absolutely huge - easily a double bath.

The pub was very old and Quirky, the weather was good so we could enjoy the beer garden. The food was nice and service very good,. The head waiter was excellent, he couldn't do enough to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. It was a very relaxing weekend, just what the doctor ordered.

Bridget met us when we arrived and was very friendly . She made sure the room was warm enough for us. The room was very large and traditionally furnished. The bed was very comfortable . The shower was adequate and we had large fluffy bath towels . The pub is situated right in the centre of Chipping Norton and very convenient for trying out the local bars and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Whistles and Alberto's.
We felt that the price of the accommodation was very good value for money.
Perfect ambience. We’d just arrived in the UK and headed straight to chipping Norton. The restaurant was great. Staff was very friendly w excellent service. The room had old Atmosphere But had recently been nicely remodeled. The fox is in the heart of the town of Chipping Norton. Plenty of sites to see and restaurants within walking distance. We loved it. Nice Cotswolds
Experience with out the crowds.
Cheapest night's stay in this part of the Cotswold's - good if you just need a room for the night before heading on. Comfortable enough given the price, but gives the impression that they built the hotel and the golf course, but didn't quite get around to furnishing the rooms. The front desk staff was about the friendliest I've experienced, and allowed for late check-out which was very helpful.
We had a great couple of days here. A great location, as there is plenty to do and see in the area. The hotel is great for families as there are activities and space for them to run around and explore. With lots of families staying, it makes you feel more comfortable when your kids are running around. Staff were lovely and very accommodating.
The hotel staff made us feel really welcome and were beyond nice at all times. The hotel and rooms were super clean and comfortable and had all the items that we’d need for a pleasant comfortable stay. The food was also delicious at the restaurant and we had a wonderful time.
The cottage was lovely and well equipped. There was a fantastic, informative brochure with places to visit etc. Netflix is a nice touch. Beautiful location and only a 15 minute walk to Chipping Norton. Katie was lovely and very helpful. Will definitely visit again!
Great location and modern facilities. Great to have secure off-road parking considering you're in the centre of town!
Very comfortable beds
Nice sized living space and storage

We were met by the manager of the pub who gave us a very warm welcome and showed us to our room!
The room was spacious and bed comfortable! Location was perfect for us as we were going to a wedding close by! Great value for money
Perfectly acceptable budget hotel with a bar and restaurant on Chipping Norton’s high street. Parking to rear and I was cuffed to have stayed in what was a former owner’s, (Keith Moon) bedroom.
Really clean room, with lovely view of the sunset in the evening and thoughtful touches. Really friendly staff and great service. Great location right in the centre of Chipping Norton.
Spacious house with comfortable beds. Nice garden. Good location for traveling to other places. Nice pubs and shops in Chipping Norton.
We had a family holiday and enjoyed the place.
Cherry Tree Cottage was easy to get to, cute in appearance, very comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. It was very clean, spacious and with great communication from the host.
Great pub attached to the hotel which is a total bonus. Nice surroundings to enjoy walks or do some day trips into the Cotswolds area. Staff was very friendly
