Good location in the village with a good pub with excellent food (best to book as can be busy). Peaceful and only a short drive to Bakewell, Chatsworth, Buxton and other Peak District places. We have a dog and were able to access the field with the combination lock, great views 😀,we had a a ride to a local farm that does lovely scones n tea, the pub is just up the road to, loads of relaxing walks, definitely a place to visit if you want to get off the normal mundane every day life

The Church Inn public house serves some fantastic home made pies and fresh produce, not your typical pud grub, a cut above the rest! Mine Host, Justin is very welcoming and obliging.
