Beautiful Georgian house, with large well maintained grounds. We stayed in one of the suites, which consisted of bedroom with super-king bed, bathroom with a gorgeous rolltop bath and large separate shower, and a sitting room. Handy having a fridge in the room as I have medicine that must be kept cold. It was quiet and peaceful, and with the comfy bed, we slept really well. Breakfast had lots of choices and all very well cooked. Michelle couldn't do enough for us and made us very welcome. Easy drive to Bamburgh Castle, Lindisfarne, Sea Houses and Alnwick. Lots of local pubs to eat in. We loved our stay here.

Adorable shepherds hut - very clean and well designed. Loved the log fire. Delicious cooked breakfast included. Good evening meal and entertainment in the evening.
Great location for visiting Bamburgh and Alnwick Castles.

Great place to discover the beautiful coastline and surrounding countryside. Alnwick Gardens a treat. Cragside beautiful even in autumn. Bamburgh Castle a favourite with its amazing beach. The smoked haddock chowder in the tiny cafe in Craster was superb. Dunstanburg Castle walk from Craster is a must. Fabulous views and a bracing walk. Ate in the potted lobster as a special treat - pricey but worth it. The little cafe in belford is a must as is fish and chips from the John Dory takeaway! Great value!

Quality throughout.
Quality throughout. In addition to the listed facilities a dishwasher and washing machine were installed. The on-road parking was not a problem being available right by the front door. The only downside apart from the Percy Arms any other eateries were several miles away .

I liked that the village was rural and therefore a car is a necessity to visit other places nearby. I like to travel by public transport and not sure how good that is.
We ate at the local pub which was dog friendly.

The Percy Arms was lovely, the food and hospitality was great, very friendly. It's a very quiet area but, there's lots to see & do with or without a car, there are some good walks around the area too.
A beautiful hotel in a very quiet location. We stayed in the Chillingham suite. And it was a suite. A nice big bed which was really comfy. Tea & coffee facilities in a separate area, with a small fridge, which was good. A really big bathroom with a power shower. A nice big mirror above the sink, which illuminated. All toiletries were of a good size and quality, which lasted the whole of our stay. Not the tiny little things you normally get. A very good selection for breakfast. And you were made to feel really welcome.
The location is around 30 mins from the coast in the small village of Chatton. The Percy Arms is the hub of the village, there was a small shop in the village but nothing else that i could see but that suited both myself and mt brother fine as we used the Percy Arms as a base for exploring and the village is lovely and preaceful. The staff were all lovely. We ate In the Percy Arms resturant 3 out of the 4 nights we stayed the food was excellent. The price of the rooms also included breakfast which again was very nice.
It was a lovely week in Chatton. The property was perfect, the only thing I wished it had but it didn't was a bathroom/toilet upstairs. Apart from that it worked really well, spacious enough for a family of 5 with very active children. The pub next door is lovely and has yummy food. The location is great too, really easy to get to from the A1, and going to visit places: Bamburgh, Beadnell, Holy Island etc were so easy to get to!
The Chatton Cottage was a great surprise. The photos don't do the place justice. It is a beautiful little cottage, with heaps of space, very comfortable and fantastically clean. It is a good base to discover Alnwick, Chillingham and Bamburg castles, all are wotrth seeing.
Bonus is the two minute walk to the local pub, which is excellent.
Beautiful hotel and bar area, spotlessly clean throughout. Rooms are modern, large comfy bed and have everything in them you need. The bar is cozy, serves excellent food and is super dog friendly. All staff we interacted with were all professional and really friendly. Great location also to get out exploring.
BREAKFAST WAS MORE THAN EXCEPTIONAL THE ROOM. WAS CLEAN THE STAFF WERE ALL FRIENDY AND PROFESSIONAL THIS WAS MY SECO D STAY AT THIS HOTEL AND IT WAS NO DIFFERENT TO MY FIRST STAY GREAT HOTEL TO STAY AT
The room and facilities at the hotel were excellent. We had reserved the restaurant that evening and the food was very good. Would certainly recommend for short stays in this area
The room was lovely. We had an upgrade and it was a nice large room with a large bathroom and very nice shower. The general ambiance and decor in the hotel is very nice.
