The room had great space for hanging clothes and enough drawers for underwear.
We used iron and ironing table. We used the bar on Friday night were all the family were arriving from Edinburgh, Oxford, Australia and Tenerife. Suddenly the barmaid came round and asked for last orders!! We were like it’s only 9.45 barmaid said, manager said it’s quiet so we will close early!!! And they did. Also one of our party went for a pizza, and was told the kitchen was closed, again this was closed earlier than it should have been. I am physically disabled and booked an accessible room, I should have asked but was so disappointed and upset that it was a bath in our room and not a walk in shower.
There were beetles running along the carpet on the outside wall, we bought spray to kill them.
The toilet flush was broken.
It wasn’t a very good experience at all apart from the reception staff and the cleaning/dining room staff they were all great!!! Don’t think we will be visiting again anytime soon

The staff were all really lovely! They met every need and I couldn’t say anything bad at all about them or our experience! Thank you! We will be back.

The cottage was beautiful, homely, bright, and clean, with great private parking. The lounge was probably our favourite room, with it's cosy sofas and immitation log burner. There was a lovely pub nearby serving great food, and it was easy to get out to all our places of interest from this handy base. Anita and Tony were extremely helpful and sorted out any issues we brought to their attention. Excellent hosts and a lovely cottage. We'd definitely stay here again.

The location was ideal, the property provided spacious accommodation for the size of our party (seven adults + two children). The village of Cawood is reasonably compact and within easy walking distance of the property. There are a range of restaurants, pubs and cafes providing a good range of food outlets.
There a range of walks in the surrounding area which provide interest and exercise.
