Gorgeous property with wonderful staff throughout. Our room was in one of the converted cottages, beautifully done and we even had an Easter egg left as a gift as it was over Easter weekend. Everywhere was spotless and well presented, food and drink exceptional, perfect place for a romantic getaway.

My room was fantastic. A huge, very comfy bed, with extra pillows in the wardrobe (& iron, ironing board and hairdryer). Shower room was clean and fairly recently refurbished. Breakfast - lots of choice and very good. Location was great, easy to find and plenty of parking.
The hotel and the surrounding area are well worth the trip.
The hotel and the surrounding area are well worth the trip. We stayed in one of the cottages which was renovated to and excellent standard maintaining original features. The gardens are interesting. I declined to be shown to the cottage but would recommend being taken to the one given as the allocated one was not obvious.

The Hotel is not in Castle Combe itself.
The Hotel is not in Castle Combe itself. It is a short drive away from Castle Combe up a very narrow one track road. The hotel is wonderful and we had a great dinner meal there. Not so fussed about breakfast. We did not want a cooked breakfast and the breakfast bar itself could have been improved.

One of my favourite locations in all of the UK, I have not been back in 29 years and the village has lost no charm at all.
Hot chocolate and cake from a friendly gentleman in the village was perfect on the wet day that we visited.

I loved Castle Combe.
I loved Castle Combe. It’s a really picturesque town great for photos. If you’re there for longer than a couple of hours then the walking tracks surrounding the town are exceptional, especially during autumn. So many amazing walking trails and leafy pathways and wild blackberries all along the tracks. I spent ages just walking around. It’s even nice to just sit under a tree in front of the Manor with a book.
If you plan on taking public transport then make sure you plan getting there and leaving carefully. Public transport didn’t run there on the day I planned to go so I had to take an Uber there, but then getting an Uber out of the town is not an option (unless you’re very lucky). So just don’t take an Uber into the town on a Sunday if you’re also planning on leaving on Sunday or you might find yourself stranded.
There are buses that come but only a couple a day, and some are a bit of a distance from the city centre and you’re likely to lose phone reception if you try and walk to those stops.. so plan ahead wisely. But there should be a bus that comes right to the city centre- just don’t miss it!
P.S If you go for a walk outside of the main town make sure to find the Hollow! The little fairy house hidden in a log, inside it you’ll find a book where you can sign your name :)

Beautiful village.
Beautiful village.
I loved every minute of my stay however, 1 day is more than enough to explore the whole village.
The bridge, church and Manor house is a must see.
Foot at Castle inn was amazing.
Parking is available but public car park is some distance away.
I cannot fault this beautiful village.
It was 8 of us in 5 rooms. All the rooms were super cute with very comfortable beds. The staff was exceptional and the most friendly and helpful we have ever had on our travels in England. The food, breakfast and dinner, in the pub was delicious and plenty. The pub has a lovely outside seating area with heaters. Overall it could have not been more perfect. All 8 of us highly recommend the White Hart Pub & Hotel.
Lovely spacious , well maintained room with a nice view of the village and classic decorated as expected. Good quality towels and linen. Staff was friendly and kind. We had a dinner and the breakfast. Both really good with good quality ingredients . I enjoyed more the breakfast than the dinner that was maybe a little overpriced. I would anyway recommend for sure this place to stay or to eat while in Castle Combe.
The Old Court House was very well maintained, clean and as advertised! Such a rich history we found fascinating. The location was central to all thing Castle Combe (albeit a very small village). Castle Combe is literally like stepping back in time and absolutely overflowing with charm and beauty! The locals are warm and sell ice cream and cakes right out of their homes! PS. Castle Inn dining was exceptional.
Very convenient location; just a couple of minutes on foot from the main village. The property was superb. The host was in excellent communication and offered very helpful info & advice prior to our arrival. I wouldn't hesitate to go back and I'd totally recommend staying at The Old Museum!
A quintessentially English cottage in a beautiful village. Very well equipped and comfortable with a well stocked Kitchen. The vaulted cathedral ceiling in the Master Bedroom with a four poster bed completed our wonderful relaxing vacation in the Cotswolds.
Great property, and great location.
If you are looking to get away for a quiet weekend within walking distance of Castle Combe, then this is the perfect place!
And as a bonus, you get a wonderful view of the Ponies in the Paddock!
The location of the White Hart is very tranquil and allows for a relaxing break or a base from which to travel. The pub itself is a hidden gem and the food menu compliments the ambience of the establishment
Lovely property, very well decorated and very clean. Location is great, it’s a short walk to Castle Combe village and lots of walking routes in the area. Would highly recommend this property.
Ideal location for visiting Castle Combe race track and also Lacock Abbey. Stayed in the Appartment (Room 8) which was a bonus. with plenty of space for two of us Nice cosy atmsophere too.
My wife requires clean and safe. It was safe. Partially clean. Hard to find isolated location. Room and bath were tiny and dark. Lots of noise from people moving around from unit above.
Great location, very idyllic and fairytale looking, exactly how we pictured the Cotswolds to be. The inn was quaint and comfortable and within close distance to Bath and Castle Combe.
Outdoor spa was great. Very beautifully decorated sleeping and bathrooms areas. Close walk ~15min to castle Combe. All the items you’d need to comfortably stay here for a few nights.
Everything!! Beautiful property in a very charming village. Hospitality, meals, service and attitude were amazing!! I can’t wait to go back. One of our favorite stays ever!
We have stayed at the Manor house hotel
Many times over the years, because of the ambiance and the food. Sadly they failed miserably in meeting our passed expectations.
Bathroom was really well done. The king bed was very comfortable. The ambiance v was lovely. The Castle Inn restaurant offered a nice selection for dinner.
