This ‘boutique’ hotel is located in the countryside near the large village of Broadway. The hotel is immaculate everywhere and maintained to an excellent standard. Rooms are extremely comfortable with everything you need, very comfortable bedding and towels etc. The best UK Spa hotel I have stated in so far. The staff are absolutely fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. The food is of an excellent quality too! We had a beautiful breakfast every day which had everything available you could ever want. We dined there one evening too and the food and service was superb and faultless. We can’t speak highly enough of our stay there and the staff too. Hannah, in the Greenhouse’ Spa area, went the extra mile to make sure our stay was the best it could be.
Located in the quintessentially English village that is Broadway in the heart of The Cotswolds, The Lygon Arms is the perfect spot to switch off and relax (with or without your pampered pooch!)...

Beautiful historic hotel with plenty of period feature, art, furniture, history. We had the 'cheapest' room (at nearly £400 per night) and was 2 floors up in the main building. While it's amazing that dogs are so welcome, it was a problem with our elderly dog (I did not realise this upon booking so worth checking). The grounds of the hotel are stunning, from the courtyard to the back manicured gardens (perfect for dog walks and so quiet).
Dogs are very welcome in most areas, so are families. The pool is available for family time twice a day
Food is by celeb chef James Martin and - while good - pretty overpriced, but this is Broadway and it's expensive.
We did not book hotel breakfast, we only had dinner one evening (grillmenu).
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with plenty of tea and coffee and towels, water, tv, internet. Oddly, no minibar (which was a problem to keep dog food mainly).
Staff are very friendly, from reception to managers to housekeeping.
Nestled amid 19 acres of gardens and woodland, this 19th century country house provides the ideal base from which to explore the rolling hills and hidden valleys of the Cotswolds.

Great staff - we visited just before they had the builders move in for redecoration and redevelopment. Lovely location and really pleasant part of the world.

The property was clean & comfortable & the owner was very accommodating & helpful. The property was a great, central location for exploring The Cotswolds. The village of Willesey had a couple of pubs, we visited The New Inn & had a great meal. The Willersey Garage had friendly staff at it's assisted fueling service, which was like going back in time - in a good way.

It was fantastic - a lovely comfortable stay with friends overnight for the May bank holiday weekend.

Such a clean well presented village. A little quiet, however with the car and travelling around the days were soon filled.
Good access, and a wide tree lined high street which has good accessibility

The site is situated in an area where there are many places of interest within easy reach. The village itself has several nice pubs which serve good food at reasonable prices. The lodges are self catering and there is a good balcony to sit on during the warmer months.

The things that were good were excellent.
The things that were good were excellent. The things that were bad were dreadful. Mistakes which should never be made in this type of establishment. The building is great. The hotel and restaurant it houses could be so much better.

Broadway is a lovely village with fabulous restaurants, pubs and shops. It is the perfect base for visiting The Cotswolds. Our second visit was last week when all the Christmas lights were up, it looked beautiful and welcoming.

Broadway was a lovely little village, one of the larger ones. We reached a little late in the evening so the shops were closed except for a super market and a pub. It was nice to walk around and admire the place in the quite summer evening without the crowds we saw the next day. High street is a good place to walk on and admire the stone buildings. Do visit the tower for good views.
Easy friendly welcome and check in, no parking onsite but they were very helpful with directions to the local public car park ( 2 mins walk )and tips for paying upfront that lasted through until next morning. Great to have your own pub just downstairs. We didn't eat there but spoke to people that did and food looked great. thanks very much for a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, location was great and Broadway is lovely.
The hotel was in the very middle of Broadway and was easily accessible from the village. The room was a ground floor room with a large bed and two chairs (which is very unusual as only one is generally available) The breakfast was excellent with a large range of items to choose from. Parking, although in the centre of the village, was provided free of charge very close by. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Excellent secure parking. We stayed in a Good Double Room, which was cosy and comfortable. The Broadway Hotel has a super atmosphere with a busy bar and lounge area. Breakfast was particularly good with lots of choice and excellent service. We enjoyed wandering into all the local shops making lots of Christmas purchases. We ate in the village on both nights there is lots of choice within a very short walk.
The room was fine, clean and comfortable. Like the rest of the hotel it needs a complete refit as it is undoubtedly looking tired.
The staff were excellent particularly in view of the fact that they all face redundancy as the hotel wiil close on 22 December for an indefinite period. A major refurbishmenmt project will start in January.
Location an easy walk into town and free parking available in Broadway. Busy road nearby but we were not disturbed as the double glazing was very effective. Chalet very well equipped (apart from a milk jug!) Bed extremely comfortable. Host allowed us early access as place was free - Kelli was most helpful/friendly.
Spacious, pretty cosy cottage, good location near the village of Broadway and Cotswolds in general. Clean, comfortable beds and great powerful showers. Two bathrooms were so convenient not forgetting the downstairs loo which was invaluable for my elderly Mother-in-law.
The property was wonderful. There were only two of us, and we had ample room to move about or have a moment of privacy. The private courtyard is the perfect place to read or do nothing at all. I also loved that the village was quiet and wasn’t crowded with tourists.
Perfect location to explore Broadway and a beautiful hotel building with plenty of history. Staff were very friendly and helpful and a warm welcome on our arrival as I had rang to say we would be late arriving. Slept well in a comfy bed. Fabulous breakfasts.
The location was excellent, a short walk into Broadway and near the steam railway. Property was a lot larger than expected, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. We also enjoyed the decor. A big thank you to Bella for quickly sorting the door problem.
Lovely staff and very friendly and helpful
Lovely service at breakfast and evening meal and the evening meal was delicious and a delightful experience and the Hotel close to the lovely Cotswolds village Broadway so perfect for a special trip
Wonderful hotel and restaurant. We loved the beamed room king bed AC food drinks and the town. The entire staff was always there to help us. Thank you to everybody for a great holiday in the Costwolds. We will return.
Beautiful hotel inside and out in a fantastic position in the centre of Broadway. The bedroom was a good size with a lovely big bed and the bathroom was absolutely fine. Excellent welcome for your beloved dogs!
Beautifully designed with lots of break out areas. Nice touches like pick and mix selection and wine vending machines. Lovely walks in and around the hotel made easier with borrowed walking boots and wellies.
Very nice comfortable room with large modern bathroom. Lobby is in a courtyard just off the main shopping street of Broadway. The property is set up as a self checking which worked well.
A country house hotel with character and faded glory, in a good location, close to Broadway. Spacious room (but premium). Extermly friendly breakfast staff (and a decent breakfest too)
Everything was wondeful. The pictures don't do it justice. So comfortable, spacious, beautifully decorated, clean, great parking and location. Easy check-in.
