Great choice for places to eat.
Great choice for places to eat. The walks around the area are so scenic but hard going if you are not used to hiking. Lots of places where you can just sit in peace and quiet. Worth a walk up to Berry Head and the forts. Some nice nature walks as well. Also walk up to the Battery and the coves just further along the coast path.

Beautiful harbour area and stretch of the South Coast Walk.
Beautiful harbour area and stretch of the South Coast Walk. It's a lovely town that does not have the winter shut down feel of some other coastal towns in the UK, probably because it is also a working port town so never really completely switches off.
We ate in La Petit Maison and Rock Fish; both fabulous restaurants that I can highly recommend and drinks/cocktails in Liberties on the Harbour front; also very much recommended.

Brixham is an historical fishing village with a great deal of character. There are many lovely places to visit in the area which are not too far from Brixham.
The coast is lovely with lots of places to walk and enjoy the seascape.

Loved it quant interesting not commercial.
Loved it quant interesting not commercial. Lots of interesting shops and restaurants. It was Autumn when we visited and the town had slip into its winter mode. Restaurants and shops closed earlier than we expected. Best to check opening times. We enjoyed eating in The Birdcage pub restaurant. As one would expect Brixham its hilly. Plenty of walks but we did not have time to take advantage of many. We will definitely be going back my favourite place in Devon

Loved Liberty's, Birdcage and all the lush shops and Gallery's. Everyone made us all feel so welcome a home away from home. A fab mediterranean restaurant in the harbour can highly recommend a visit to. All in all a fab friendly place to visit and stay and then return.
The room was lovely and clean with an amazing view. Lots of space as the room was a great size with every detail thought of. Breakfast was delicious and very generous with amazing service. Again every detail thought of, with a brilliant selection of tea’s, coffees, cereals and then your choice of cooked breakfast, from Salmon & eggs to full English. The service was brilliant, very hospitable and I will definitely stay here again. The owners are very welcoming, accommodating and very friendly making you feel right at home.
It’s really close to the harbour and the best of Brixham. The view from our room was unbeatable and the accommodation was spotlessly clean, charmingly decorated, and everything worked. The hosts were wonderful company and provided superb service. The menu, the quality ingredients and the chef’s flair made for outstanding breakfasts. We really appreciated the advice given about where and what to eat in town - all Herve’s tips were spot-on. The whole weekend was a joy and one we can’t wait to repeat later this year.
Our room had a wonderful view of the beautiful Brixham harbour and the colourful buildings on the other side, probably the best possible view in Brixham.
Matthew and Rosie were excellent hosts. We were visiting Brixham with a view to possibly moving there and Matthew was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
The cooked breakfasts were really good and if you're a lover of Marmite you'll be in for a treat - I had no idea it was made in so many flavours!
The room was clean and comfortable; homely.
The character of this hotel is amazing it has so many interesting artifacts in it and things to look at. It's all decorated throughout so well. The stories and the history of this hotel are so interesting.
The location to brixham Harbour was brilliant a 5 minute drive and you are there.
There was plenty of parking and the breakfast was good.
The bar area was always busy with locals and guests alike. Plenty of outside seating as well.
everything and amazing location! you literally could not get a better location, it’s situated in the best spot on the marina, 2 min walk from car park. toilet and shower facilities are very very clean. we had such a great time and was our first time on a boat. in my opinion it’s so much better than any hotel or B&B you can get on Brixham. the views when you wake up are idyllic.
Great location for accessing Brixham shops and restaurants and lovely view over harbour. Plenty of space for the two of us.. Kitchen had all the facilities we needed. Milk in fridge, white wine and biscuits all thoughtful touches. Can imagine that in the summer dedicated parking space essential.so a really great feature.
The apartments were amazing in every aspect cleanliness parking & the view out to sea was fantastic
The adjacent Hotel with all the facilities was also amazing with so friendly staff
It is a must visit place to go & we will definitely be going again
Location to Brixham within walking distance was Fab too
Absolutely fabulous. Hosts left a fridge with basic essentials and a hamper of luxury items. The cupboards and shelves were stocked with so many items, from soup to cereals and so much more. There were books and games and heaters if you needed them. All in all better than some 5 star hotels.
Great location, unforgettable views, really good facilities at High Hopes, directly adjacent to the harbour and all local facilities. Great walks along the coastal path. The parking permit included with the deal was really useful and saved a lot of hassle.
What a fab apartment in central Brixham - very comfortable with good space and facilities. Opposite steps that walk you down to the harbour- quite steep but with a stop we managed them fine. Very useful location though with an added bonus of free parking.
On the dinner menu, I particularly enjoyed the chef's chicken and pork signature dishes. Though fish featured significantly on the menu, we had no problems over the wife's seafood allergy. Three good local real ales were on tap.
A little piece of heaven , salty kisses , sandy toes , blissful high end boutique B and B , spotlessly clean , sophisticated decor , fabulous hosts and awesome breakfast . Our second visit , will return again
Upstairs loft room with balcony overlooking Harbour was fantastic. Rooms were clean and tidy with a cottage style decoration. Great having a dedicated parking space on Quay. All in all great place to stay
Lovely apartment, ideal for our stay. Not too far from the centre of Brixham.
Clean and tidy, 2 minute walk to the local shop for those basic supplies.
Own car parking space is a definite plus!
Great guest house, we had a lovely room overlooking the harbour. It was spacious, spotless & comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, if we returned to Brixham this is where we’d stay
Breakfast was really good - freshly made and very tasty. Friendly staff there and felt welcome there. Great location and even paying for parking still made it good value.
very sympathetically and lovingly restored
good location, at the harbour in under 10 mins.
excellent proactive owners, made to feel very welcome. good value.
Lovely presented very clean and well equipped apartment, everything you need for a home from home break.
