They were in the middle of renovation in one area, so selection for breakfast was minimal but the food we had was well cooked and enjoyable. The evening meal choice was small but again well cooked . Our room was very comfortable and the en-suite was ok . All the staff we came into contact were very friendly and helpful. The parking is plentiful and it’s very quiet, it feels very secure

Charming typical Devon village with great pub and Landlord.

Charming typical Devon village with great pub and Landlord. Roads are small and parking can be difficult but always available somewhere in the village. Being elevated has extensive views of rolling Dartmoor countryside. Only negative is the village shop and Post Office closed sometime ago so there are no petrol or food shops in the village.
