Corse Lawn House Hotel, hotel in Birtsmorton

In 12 acres of beautiful gardens, this elegant country house hotel boasts 3 prestigious AA Red Stars and an indoor swimming pool.

Picturesque, quiet with such lovely features and furniture of the years past ! As you go from one room to another there are lovely antique items and furniture it was a bit like antique road show !😀The staff were amazing from the minute I arrived and checked in by ( Aunt SALLY) lol 😂 I know she will chuckle to the first waiter Antony who made us laugh with hes sence of humour ! Nothing seemed to much for them and was always on hand to help ! The head waiter filled my flask in the morning and the cook 🧑‍🍳 came in 30 minutes early to make sure we had a brilliant breakfast 🍳 before going to work Malvern show !! Dinners were lovely and it made my stay feel like being on holiday!! I just can’t fault them at all !! The owner should be so proud of the staff of this hotel 5 🌟 stars from me thanks joe

The Feathers Hotel, Ledbury, Herefordshire, hotel in Birtsmorton

Originally built in 1564, The Feathers Hotel, Ledbury, Herefordshire still maintains much of its original Tudor architecture today, nestled in the historic market town of Ledbury.

The food was excellent. The staff were efficient, friendly and most helpful. The dining room was rather chilly in the mornings. We loved the pictures of chefs and found them fascinating. If anyone ever finds out about them we’d very much like to know more.

Cottage In The Wood, hotel in Birtsmorton

Set in 7 acres of wooded slopes, Cottage in The Wood offers an award-winning wine list, homemade biscuits and free parking and Wi-Fi, with direct access to the Malvern Hills.

Our stay at the cottage in the wood was just for one night, but we are pleased we found it and will be visiting again. The location is great. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The chairs in our room were perfectly positioned to sit in and take in the gorgeous view, as were the seats on the terrace and in the restaurant. The food was amazing with just the right amount of choice on the menu. The staff were friendly, helpful and approachable and the birthday card was a very nice touch.

There was nothing we didn't like.

There was nothing we didn't like. Our whole stay was delightful. Richard was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. He even gave us wine and beer before we headed off to the lovely local pub for dinner, and we had some great chats. Our room (with en-suite) was cosy and the bed very comfortable. Earplugs were supplied but we didn't use them, because we enjoy hearing all the country sounds, even the cockerel crowing! TVs were available in our room and the lounge, but we didn't use them - it was nice to be without it for a while. Breakfast was lovely - simple and delicious, and Richard makes his own bread - seeded and white, so there is a choice; both are delicious. His own chickens lay the breakfast eggs. The family pets are very friendly, and the new puppy is adorable! The location of Home Farm is beautiful - very rural and peaceful, with a charming pub - The Duke of York - within walking distance. For our two completely free days we had a guided factory tour of the Morgan Motor Company in Malvern, and enjoyed a trip on the Gloucester Canal. A truly enjoyable three-night break, which we fully recommend. Thank you, Richard!

Off the beaten track in the heart of the countryside, but with a pub down the road and not too far from civilisation. If you want a friendly, relaxed stay then tbis for you, but don't expect a 5 star hotel style where no one noticez you - you're made to feel like one of the family.
