Paul (Manager) outstanding (very friendly on the phone when I called to say I'd arrive late, guided me towards the parking behind the pub & met me there etc.) - congratulations to the owners for finding such a dedicated employee. Also nicely furnished room with very good bed, very new and clean bathroom.
Surrounded by beautiful South Downs hills, the pretty gardens of this converted Tudor house are secluded by tall trees.

Cleanliness, location, facilities and staff all amazing. Shower gel and shampoo provided in the bathroom, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, tea/coffee and complimentary biscuits. Full English breakfast to die for! Minus the beds, we really couldn’t fault this place!

Beverley was a great host, met us on arrival and very helpful. There was some fresh milk waiting for us in a small flask, with the Rockys being a lovely sweet treat! The bed linen was sumptuous, and the mattress very comfortable, we really didn't want to get up next morning. Everywhere you looked in the room there were little luxurious well thought out touches.

Tis was a convenient and comfortable one night stay on the way to Gatwick airport. Unfortunately we were not advised that the restaurant did not open that night, one of the reasons we were there so we had to go hunting for take-away and there were a few options. The room was quiet (although on a main road), clean and convenient.
