Fab place to stay. Jim came down from his house next door to greet us at 11pm on the night of our arrival. So lovely of him and such a nice spot to stay. Kitchen and sitting room to use also. Highly recommend staying here.

The Rose was the perfect place to base myself while in the Armagh area and Olivia was an exceptional host ensuring that I had everything I needed. The house has all mod-cons and is spotlessly clean. Bed was comfy and each room has an ensuite. There's even a secure outdoor area which I could use to store my bike overnight (I was in the area to do a cycle)

Loved the older style of the hotel. Rooms was spacious, clean and beds comfy. Restaurant attached (including bar) was very good and good value. Wish I had been able to stay longer and explore the local area.

We did the walking tour and it was well worth the £6. Armagh is a city full of history and there is a core group of people working very hard to keep the city alive and vibrant. It is a very friendly city where everyone seems to know everyone else and outsiders are made very welcome. We also visited the Planetarium/Observatory and that is a treat for any age group. There are also lovely walks around it. We ate in Keegan's pub (ask anyone the way to it) and loved the food and the Guinness. I would very highly recommend a visit to Armagh for people of any age, there is something there for everyone.ClarkeIreland - 10Scored 10

Interesting for a family visit with Planetarium and historical information in Museums. Lots of open space. Morelli's crepes and ice cream big hit with everyone on our trip. Chance visit to the Men's shed was an added bonus - very helpful and knowledgable members

Lovely park and walk beside hotel...enjoyed shops...lovely cathedral....just one little hicup..after leaving cathedral i went to filling station opposite as i needed to pick up a few things..i asked the little girl behind the counter if they had a toilet i could use...she replied no which was ok but i found her rude and not in the least bit friendly, unlike some of the other shops i visited...apart from that i had a great time in Armagh😁Mary KIreland

She made tea for us when we arrived and we were also able to make ourselves a cup of tea when we wanted. The sitting area was very comfortable. The cooked breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
