This is a fantastic hotel - the building is steeped in history.
The interior is in superb condition and it was a privilege to be able to stay there.
The central hall with open fire was ideal for sampling a late evening dram.
The room was very comfortable and the staff very welcoming.

The most amazing B&B we have ever stayed in. Hospitality was second to none, with unique, wonderful recommendations given for the area and beyond. Dinner and breakfast were both fantastic and the rooms were incredible with a great eye for furniture and art. Can’t speak highly enough of this magical place!

Very friendly and welcoming. Very comfortable bed. Continental breakfast but ample - meat, cheese, yoghurt etc. If in area, we would certainly stay there again.
It is a nice base to see Blairgowrie & Dundee. I’m sure there are other brilliant places within a short drive. We went swimming in Dundee but were disappointed to find the flumes out of action. This seems to be an ongoing issue but the 1m deep pool was still fun for us. There is also a swimming pool & sports hall in Blairgowrie, next to the High School. We booked table tennis (less than £6 for 1 hour), played some indoor football & were tempted to stay & play badminton too. All equipment was provided & the staff were very helpful & friendly. Perth & Kinross have a Live Active app. You can sign up for a free membership, this then allows you to see all the facilities available in a number of centres.
My husband had played one of the nearby courses (I believe there are 3 in close proximity) during a previous stay in Blairgowrie. He rated the course very highly. The weather was better than expected during this stay & he wishes he had brought his clubs.

Lands of Loyal is a superb stopping off point to explore the Angus glens, Perth and beyond. Is around 30 minutes from Perth, Dundee and the Angus coastline. Alyth has a large "den" (read country park) to enjoy walks and some local shops to get any provisions you may need. It's pretty traditional small agricultural village (until they finish the 100's of new build in the village) and offers a good base to explore from

Alyth is an excellent location to go walking locally and also sightseeing. It is also very close to Dundee, if you wanted to visit V&A. Perth, Blairgowrie and all the surrounding countryside is just stunning. We also went to Anstruther and booked the day boat trip to Isle of May Island to see the Puffins and many other birds

Alyth is a pretty, well-cared for and valued village.
Alyth is a pretty, well-cared for and valued village. Local business people work really hard to promote their assets and services as well as community welfare. A team of local volunteers produce a high-quality coloured monthly FREE magazine called "Alyth Voice" which tells you all you need to know about what's available.
It is a picturesque place, with a river and weir running through its centre.
There are several places of interest to visit and to walk. Well worth at least one day of your time.

I grew up in the area, but was not familiar with the town, which is very pleasant and pretty.
Also has a great fish and chip shop.
Did a lovely short walk, but for walkers, you are on the doorstep of the Cateran Trail.
The welcome was cheerful and helpful; the bedroom and en-suite were both very spacious, comfortable and well equipped.
Our breakfast was delicious - porridge, eggs benedict, sourdough toast with poached eggs, etc. etc. Well cooked and SO much better than standard hotel fare. Our evening meal was also excellent, as was the wine!
The overall facilities were superb - two guest lounges (loved the 'Bee' wallpaper!) and a delightful garden.
In essence: totally awesome!!!
Really lovely accommodation which suited or needs perfectly. Very quiet location but right next to shops and in heart of Alyth. Plenty of space and well equipped cupboards with pans, crockery, washing up stuff etc. I liked that the check in was remote as with a small baby our time keeping is terrible, so would have felt stressed thinking we had arranged to get there to meet someone at a specific time.
the breakfast was exceptional. I always like a cooked breakfast when I travel in Scotland and this breakfast certainly did the job. I loved that there were options for vegetarians.
The location was wonderful. We were able to walk into town as it was very close. It was a peaceful location surrounded by the beautiful sounds of the birds.
Amazing hosts. Wonderful, tasty breakfast. Delightful room. Supports worthwhile, local causes. They went above and beyond to help me when I injured my foot - I will never be able to repay the kindness and generosity that they showed me during the trip. The best stay and experience I've ever had at a hotel. Cannot rate highly enough!
A delightful spacious house centrally located in the welcoming town of Alyth, ideal for exploring Perthshire. Everything was spotlessly clean, the kitchen well equipped and the beds very comfortable. We looked forward to returning to this home from home after a day out.
Braeburn house was clean, charming and Karen instantly put as at ease with her warm presence. Alyth was a cute little town and a fun place to walk around. Karen suggested a wonderful restaurant in a manor nearby, it was a bit pricy but well worth every penny.
5 star facility with outstanding owners. Dinner on Thursday night was top rate in very comfortable surroundings surpassing any restaurant would highly recommend. Graham gave us great suggestions for touring when we left and was spot on.
The food was beyond amazing. We chose to eat dinner here and we were treated like royalty. Menu selection was excellent, as was breakfast. Staff was attentive and friendly. A nice touch was the roaring fire in the gathering space.
Very comfortable room with quality furnishings and linens. Excellent breakfast. Decor throughout to very high standard. Owners were welcoming and helpful. Alyth is an interesting place and a good base for seeing the area.
The panelled hall with very comfortable seating was a lovely place to spend time. The food was excellent, the staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel was genuinely dog friendly. Lovely walks close by.
This hotel is a hidden gem - I liked everything about it - staff exceptional - personal service that you don’t get in many hotels these days - a warm friendly atmosphere - highly recommend
Everything. Second time here. Fantastic location. Owner is lovely. Room is fantastic with a comfy bed. Delicious breakfast. Couple of minutes walk to the Den of Alyth
