Aird Uig is an amazing crofting village in a marvellous situation. During the second world war or perhaps later it was turned into an RAF base. This has now been decommissioned so there are old remanets of buildings but has been bought by the community so hopefully they are able to utilise the situation which is outstanding! This must not deter visitors as it has interesting history whether it be ancient crofting history up to the modern day. The situation alone is spectacular!HollyUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0
Remote and lovely scenery.
Remote and lovely scenery. Great for a walking, exploring holiday + wildlife, you definitely need a car. We ate at the property both nights, there was nowhere else close by and the food was very good. We were lucky enough to see a Golden Eagle, we were very happy!
