Villefranche is a lovely, working village in rural france.

Villefranche is a lovely, working village in rural france. It is very close to a large lake with a beach, picnic areas and walks. In the summer it is perfect for families. The village itself has a restaurant, a bistro and a cafe. During the summer the village hosts Friday night markets in the square with a variety of local cuisine. A car is needed to travel around. St Emillion is not far away and is a lovely place to visit, not just for the wine! Bergerac is about 40 kilometres, with shops etc.
