There is a long sandy beach which is ideal for walking and plenty of car parks nearby, There are many eating and drinking places located along the sea front. It seems to be an ideal spot for rod fishing as well.

The sand is brilliant, perfect for long walks along the coast. The sea is shallow, great for taking a dip but not ideal for swimming. (We did see some people snorkeling but we didn't do it ourselves.) There are some family-friendly amenities like some playgrounds right on the beach. The restaurants are good and some of them even offer some fresh seafood from the morning's catch. It did get a bit too windy sometimes, and although we were there in the off-season, I have the feeling that it can get very crowded during the summer.

Excellent varied facilities for June or September but can be very busy in July and August.
Great seafood and excellent wine on vrack at local wine shop.
Fete de Saint Pierre was enjoyable.
Great bus service for visiting Beziers and surroundings including free Navette for local travel.
A bicycle is the best mode of local travel but can be expensive to hire - cheaper to buy new in local supermarche.

Attractive town which is easy to access.
Attractive town which is easy to access. No need for transport within the town. Excellent and plentiful seafood restaurants and a great fresh foods market right in the town centre if you are self-catering.
Friendly and helpful at reception. The closeness to town centre and beach was very good. This is a typical 2-star hotel with reasonable accommodation and basic needs for a simple holiday at Valras Plage. Interesting to note that at the present 'Covid' times the tourist population was 98% French. The local restrictions made you feel very safe. (No service without proof of vaccination or test results. Safer than UK.)
The apartment is beautiful, clean, quiet and comfortable. We really enjoyed having meals on the large balcony with the view of the water. It is literally a three minute walk to the beach. An amazing bakery is right around the corner. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. Our host was friendly and helpful- what more could you ask for? A perfect week. We would definitely come again!
I had stayed in the hotel before. Excellent position on the sea front, easy access to restaurants, port, beach, & shopping.
Valras Plage is a slightly old fashioned resort, which suits many people for wandering along the promenade in the sunshine.
Hotel very, very clean.
Good location. It was hot so the air conditioning was welcomed. Parking near the hotel. Good breakfast. Very pleasant owner. So, all in all, a pleasant stay and highly recommended.
