Great swimming pool and views although our room was on the wrong side for best views.
Good breakfast.

Our beautiful, comfortable room overlooking the vineyard and Le Cirq Lapopie beyond. We loved the spa facilities and used them every afternoon during our stay. I highly recommend paying for the entire stay access pass to the spa, excellent value 👌. Walking distance to the supermarket, restaurants and bakery. For the village of St Cirq Lapopie itself, it is better to park in P3 and walk, taking in the stunning scenery...or use P6 for a shorter walk 🚶♀️.
Boasting a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and views of mountain, Le Puits de Garival is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Tour-de-Faure, 12 km from Pech Merle Cave.

This charming apartment boasts a prime location, overlooking the Lot valley, offering both convenience and comfort. Its private entrance and staircase leading directly to the first floor ensure ease of access. All rooms and the terrace are conveniently situated on the same level and are decorated with a lot of love to detail. The well-equipped kitchen caters to all needs, it's a pleasure to prepare a meal to enjoy on the terrace.
Its proximity to major attractions, such as Saint-Cirq, makes exploring the area effortless. There's a small supermarket and a bakery right in the village.
Furthermore, the hosts exemplify hospitality, providing assistance and ensuring a pleasant experience for guests throughout their stay. It has been a pleasure staying with them and I wish them all the best for their next endeavours. Thank you for having me!

Friendly welcoming host. Delicious breakfast with homemade cake jam and yoghurt. Pretty outdoor terrace for breakfast and access to shared kitchen and fridge.Stunning views of the river from the footpath going up behind the church.

Pros: breath taking beauty, calming nature, lots of great hikes and food. When we were at hotel or just walking around the nature I felt so at peace
Cons: as Americans we were made to feel extremely unwelcome in many establishments. I speak a little bit of French, but have a hard time understanding fast speech. We were mocked multiple times when people thought we couldn’t understand them. When we asked for help in various situations we were greeted with hostility or laughed at and ignored. So maybe skip this area if you don’t feel comfortable in your French speaking abilities.

Tour de Faure is very close to the most beautiful village of Saint Cirque de Lapopie. You need good walking shooed and good level of fitness for the very steep pathways and roads through the village but it is ‘Magic’!
The room was standard and somewhat small but comfortable and clean. No toilet seats which we guess is the new form of hygiene as per the hotel standards. The buffet breakfast was very nice and well set up with a good variation of food, juices and coffee. Furthermore the location had a great pool and very well central located by car to the small center of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie
Breakfast was really good with a lot of bread choices, croissants, variety of jams etc. Stephen is a wonderful host! Very friendly, caring (even offered to pack some of the breakfast croissants for our travel! as well as allowing us to use the room a little longer than the checkout time), answered all our questions with a lot of patience and enthusiasm.
Beautiful room with terrace overlooking stunning views of Saint Cirq Lapoppie. Shower was great and bed very large and comfortable. Minibar was filled with drinks but would have been nice to have complimentary water and tea making facilities as hotel not always manned. Staff were lovely and we had a very enjoyable stay
The views were great and the location was excellent. Our room was big and very comfortable. It was very good of the hotel to give us a lift to the restaurant and pick us up. Parking was excellent and even had cover for the motorbikes.
The view of Saint Cirq is fantastic. The breakfast buffet was very complete and of excellent quality. The grounds were surprisingly large and with the small vineyard and sheep it felt like being on a quaint farm. Service was excellent.
Excellent location with views to Saint Cirq Lapopie.
Hotel was very clean and the grounds beautifully kept. Staff were helpful. Swimming pool was an added bonus. Parking in the shade was good.
We are walking the GR65 with Cele variant. We could not find accommodation in St Cirq. Hotel Les Gabarres about 1km from St Cirq was a good quality alternative accommodation
