. Maison Angelina is a lovely house decorated with exceptional skill.. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and linens. The bathroom had a great shower. Nothing was lacking. We had ordered dinner beforehand and it was amazingly delicious. We dined with our hosts, who were sweet and fun to be with. Breakfast was also wonderful. I would recommend Maison Angelina wholeheartedly and will definitely revisit if we come back this way.

Nice and spacious room/apartment and well equipped, easy check in etc. I stayed with my dog and it was a perfect place for us with private garden of the property too.
The sound insulation isn’t good though and I was disturbed by all the noises of floors, doors shutting etc. The property can’t change this sadly but worth noting.

Beautiful setting about 10 minutes walk from the center of town. Historic chateau property and my room was in the attic. Huge space very clean and quiet. There is also a pool but it was closed for the winter. Would be a nice spot on a warm day. Nice welcome. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. It’s a lovely hotel.

The rooms were beautifully furnished and put together. There was a very nice area in the back garden to sit and have a drink or eat some thing. The owner showed his garden in the back, which was outstanding. The breakfast on one morning was very good, complete with crêpes. The second morning it was standard French breakfast fare: bread with butter and jam and coffee.

Lovely old town with very steep and narrow winding streets. Great place to wander around. Bit difficult to find somewhere to get a coffee or drink. However St Girons is only a few minutes up the road with plenty of cafes

Beautiful views. Lovely walking area.
Beautiful views. Lovely walking area. Very peaceful but enough going on to make it interesting. Nice market in the village square on Wednesday mornings selling local produce.
I was on a painting holiday so did not really have time to explore.

Very interesting old small town on a hill.
Very interesting old small town on a hill. Good leaflet offers a walking tour that helped explain many features we might not have noticed otherwise. Spent a whole day meandering around the narrow roads, admiring the centuries-old buildings. Must be able to walk up steep hills and on uneven surfaces, but they are part of the charm of the place.
When we arrived at the hotel, there was no electricity, no candles or torches or emergency lighting.
When the power came back on 17 hours later, there was no fans in the room and the temperature in the room was 43 degrees. We couldn't endure these temperatures any longer so we checked out 2 days early, and request some compensation, which the manager said he was not in a position to authorise.
