The Novotel and Ibis hotels share a building across the street from the train station, with trams stopping right in front. It's a short tram ride into the centre of town or a 20 minute walk. Safe, quiet neighbourhood. Staff were very friendly and helpful; lobby was cheerful. We didn't have the breakfast. Room was small but conveniently appointed. We heard a little bit of train noise (or maybe it was a garbage truck), but very muffled; didn't bother us.

The breakfast was quite good with a selection of breads, local jams, coffees/teas/juices and cheeses. The owners were very helpful and tolerant of my less than perfect French.
