Lovely house in good location just outside the town, still walking distance though or easy quick drive in. Lovely host and room is part of the main house. Has its own bathroom and lovely furnishings. Would recommend and defo stay here again. They also allow dogs :)

The studio owners tried to provide everything you could possibly need, which was very thoughtful, but it made the room rather crowded. There were even tea, coffee and cakes provided. Owners introduced themselves and offered us the table in the garden to eat at – very nice offer, as there was very little space in the room for eating. Walk-in shower worked well. There was plenty of space across the road for parking

When we arrived there was a problem with the room and the staff did all they could for us, and the breakfast is excellent!

We had a very comfortable night at Les Marechaux. The room was clean and well enquired with a comfortable bed. The bed was nice and wide, a true king size. The hotel is located a short walk from the historic centre of Auxerre which meant we could walk into town and enjoy a lovely dinner at a restaurant recommended by Isabelle.
We had the breakfast which was adequate and convenient for us as we were driving to the airport in Paris from the hotel and wanted to get away early. I am happy to recommend this hotel and would return myself.
This hotel is set in a former watermill in the village of Venoy, 9 km from Auxerre. It is surrounded by a garden, and guests are invited to relax on the terrace or in the restaurant.
