Set on a beautiful farm in the country, it is so pretty and quiet.

The reason for the poor rating is that although you accepted the booking they were away and we were not admitted. We had to find an alternative in the dark, with a large van, and in a totally unknown area.
Located in Moulins-sur-Céphons in the Centre Region, 28 km from Châteauroux, Gite en Berry features a barbecue and views of the garden. Free private parking is available on site.

Beautiful situation adjacent to the fine chateau of Le Claveau; we enjoyed the walks around the nearby lakes and the astonishing birdsong morning and evening. The host Colette was most welcoming and generous, and we would would return in spring. It is an excellent centre to explore the northern Brenne region with ready access to the bird watching places and heritage sites.
Featuring pool with a view and views of pool, Le Truc Bidule is a recently renovated guest house located in Murs, 33 km from Chateau de Loches.

A perfect staying whether you spend a holiday or just for a stopover. Lovely hoasts, great accomodation, excellent breakfast with natural, home made products (you should very much try the home made apricot gem with lavander🪻- absolutely delicious). The rooms are cozy, very well balanced between the modern of the interior and the rural aspect of the exterior (great job with the restauration of the old buildings). The aspect is, at the first sight, of an old french farm but the interiors and the backyard are very modern with the pool, the kids playground or the designated place to play pétanque. Superb.
The surroundings are great, history, culture, landscapes and nature. They have alpacas in the premises, for kids fun. Everything is on driving distance so be prepared, if you go visiting to use the car.
All in all, one thing - perfect.
