Clean, affordable, great location. Beds were nice and private despite being in dorm. We loved the hostel manager who kindly drove us closer to Mont St Michel as there weren’t many buses the day we went.

Everything - extremely clean and comfortable rooms and bathrooms and beautiful classy decor (we had interconnecting rooms with a lovely terrace). Beds were very comfortable. The indoor sitting area was lovely to have a drink as was the gardens. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The Italian restaurant next door was some of the best Italian food we have ever had. We won't forget our stay here for the night.

Pontorson is really a cute little town with lots of cafes and restaurants. It is a very convenient place to stay to visit Le Mont St. Michel if not coming with your own car, although the local buses have quite limited schedules for getting there and back. Still, it's quite sufficient for a typical visit to Le Mont.

We train from Paris to Rennes with connecting train from Rennes to Pontorson . When we arrived at Rennes found out our connecting train to Pontorson was cancelled due to the rail strikes. Thanks to SNCF they issued us fresh tickets for a soon to be departing train to Del de Bretagne. SNCF at Del de Bretagne arranged a taxi to take us our B&B, VILLA Mons. Thank you SNCF.

Small but cute city...
Small but cute city... They should have more buses to and from the Mont St. Michel. If you're in the mood to, the distance is walkable, but you have to do it by the side of a small busy road. If you want to dine downtown, check for reservations, restaurants are usually full.

HIGHLY recommended 👏👏👏
Good location, two minutes walk from the station. Simple, but clean and with everything you need for a short stay in order to visit mont st Michel. Staff is good. Yanis was very kind welcoming us, with all explanations about how to go to St Michel. The hotel rents bikes. We have a problem with them and Yanis was very supportive. He’ve made a great effort to help us and hold our bags before our train. Breakfast was charged extra but very good for value.
Very friendly, family owned hotel. We really liked the room, spacious and clean. The bath tub and shower were very nice, and so was the king size bed
The breakfast was tasty and included some local apple jams that were exceptional. Croissant, baguette, crepes and different yoghurts were also served.
Even though we booked 10 minutes before arriving (literally), we were warmly received and made our stay in town a pleasure. Big thanks again!
This was the most spacious of all our stays while on an 18-day trip of France; it truly is a "suite" experience. The host was very responsive, including finding a place for us to store our bags. This was a big deal, because storage is not available in Pontorson at the train station, no longer available at the Mont St Michel visitors center, and Nannybag does not have a location in this area.
The place is amazing and literally 10 minutes to the parking of the Mont Saint Michel. We felt like home and the owners provided everything we needed and suggestions on what to visit during our holiday. The room was spot on and superclean! We definitely recommend L'Orée du Mont if you are visiting beautiful Mont Saint Michel and surroundings!
The location is great, close to Mont Saint Michel and to restaurants. They have bikes to lend and you can easily go by bike to Mont Saint Michel. Nicole and Pierre are great hosts. We planned to visit Saint Malo as well and they gave us tips of a nice route to follow. I also recommend some time in the massage chair, it's very good!
We adored our stay here. The common spaces were beautifully traditional and very well maintained, while the bedroom and private bath were large and featured modern amenities. Breakfast was delicious and the staff warm and welcoming. The house is a short and beautiful drive to Mont Saint Michel. We would happily stay here again.
I got moved over to their sister hotel which was nicer as this one was shut down due to not being very busy yet for the summer, the room at the other spot was amazing very clean the Wi-Fi was fast and spotless bathroom. It's also literally next to the train station which is why I stayed there.
Very cute decoration, lovely cozy and clean room. Breakfast in the morning was fabulous. Close to the train station, and an easy bike ride away from mont Saint michel. Hosts were exceptionally friendly. We would not hesitate to return to this beautiful bnb!
There wasn't anything we didn't like, but keep in mind that it is a simple room, good for a overnight stay.
Great location, just a few meters from the railway station of Pontorson which allowed for ease of access to station for our early train.
Freddy was very responsive and accommodating, the place was super clean and had everything, definitely bigger than in the pictures, very near mont saint michel, you can walk for 4km or walk to the navette
Excellent location near to Mont Saint Michel with a fantastic view of the abbey. The sheep herds passing in front of the house in early morning were a great bonus!!
Nice owner, very helpful. The breakfast is very delicious! B&B located in a quiet neighborhood, it’s good for one night stay while visit Mont Saint Michel.
