Staff were extremely helpful they even permitted us to check early and place luggage in our room thereby enabling us to visit Arcachon without having to come back early. Excellent location near the airport!

A clean and comfortable hotel, good for those using it as a pit stop on the way to/from Spain. Its on the main motorway so a way out of the city centre so probably not good for anyone wanting to explore Bordeaux. The restaurant isn't open on a Friday night as the hotel has so few guests but there are plenty of food outlets nearby

Room was clean. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast was as expected. Did not eat in the restaurant at night. If you want a drink in your room, buy it whilst your out, they would not let us buy a bottle of water to take up to the room. Even though they supplied two in the fridge as a welcome.

The staff were very friendly especially with my limited knowledge of the French language. Breakfast was good, and no one rushed me to check out of the hotel. I chose to stay at the Hotel Chantafred as my apartment in Bordeaux was not available and needed a place a to rest and place my things. The Hotel Chantafred was more than enough. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable night's stay !

The mezzanine is fully equipped and the shower was excellent. The garden is beautiful and I guess now a pool is added. Perfect place to have your breakfast and relax. It is situated about 30 minutes from the centre of Bordeaux, close to bus stations 24 (1 minute) and 5 (5 minutes) and the Pessac train station. Nathalie was an excellent host, providing everything we’ve needed.

Great bed and no noise from outside. The electric blind gave us total darkness at night.
