The hotel itself is a much higher standard than its present rating. It is superbly and tastefully decorated. Our room was perfect with its view onto an inner garden courtyard.
The owner of the hotel is absolutely delightful. Friendly, warm and welcoming. He takes great care to look after his guests.
Their was a huge choice at breakfast and the food was top quality.
The location is central yet very tranquil. We'd like to return to Orange and would 100% stay here again.

Parking was quite difficult in Orange and you need to pay in the centre. The surrounding areas are absolutely stunning and well worth visiting especially the Gorge de la Nesque, Gorge du Verdun and of course the drive up to Mount Ventoux. The wine region is one of our favourites and there are many fantastic villages to see such as Gordes, Rousillon and L'isle sur la Sorgue (arrive early to find good parking)

After being down on the busy Cote d'Azur it was a welcome and peaceful respite. The old town is lovely and there are many cafes and restaurants to enjoy. The piece de resistance of course is the world renowned Theatre Antique amphitheatre where you can go to wonderful concerts - we went to see the unparalleled Sting.

Great peaceful, happening town.
Great peaceful, happening town. Nice size for a short visit as you can walk the major parts of the old town historic areas within an hour or less! Cute boutiques, jewelry, clothing, swimwear stores. Mostly independent shops. Saw lots of touring cyclists so the flat landscape is a big bonus for them. The Roman influence is everywhere: working amphitheatre, arc de triumph, ruins, etc. Recommend touring the amphitheatre and then going across the street to the museum. Lovely town squares with sycamore/plane trees to block out the sun. Lots of restaurant choices. Place dés herbes has a tea shop: lovely to sit outside an have a cuppa tea or coffee. Overall a peaceful quiet town of historic significance. Romans+ William of Orange/j’aoute of Nassau.

Delightful town full of Provence history - large enough to have all the facilities a traveler may want but at the same time of the non overpowering size - everywhere is accessible on foot. It also is a few minutes from the motorway so a perfect stop on a longer journey.

A superb place to visit! Very relaxing and safe with great facilities. Not to mention the amazing architecture and heritage. Orange is very clean and well looked after. The people seemed friendly. Restaurants lovely. Not much English is spoken so I got to practice my French which is a good thing :)

A pleasant town, but after seeing the main sights there is not a lot else but great starting point for many cycle routes. The Roman theater was magnificent.
Great hot chocolate and ice cream shop with a view of the theatre wall
Everything starting with the warm welcome and flexibility to let us check in early to the final au revoir. Our room was perfect, large and comfortable. The breakfast was sumptuous with anything you wanted. The location in front of the RRStation was perfect to catch a morning train. Also a wonderful restaurant across the street. Highly recommend you try this small hotel. you won’t regret it!
This is an outstanding place to stay if you are in Orange. A little quiet Oasis right by the Arc de triomphe. It's a newly renovated villa with a lovely garden and pool. Our hostess Astrid couldn't have provided better service; she made restaurant reservations for us, drove us into town when it was raining one night and assisted in several other difficult issues. Good value too.
This is a very small and personal hotel located in the very centre of Orange. Upon arrival I felt very welcome and although small and perhaps a little old fashioned, hotel was perfect for a one-night stay. Reasonable priced public parking was available nearby. The breakfast was typical continental, however also served with a personal touch by the limited staff present.
The location is great, the center of the town, restaurants nearby and the Roman remains a short walk away. The hotel has its own small parking ( for extra costs), so it's very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is quite good. The restaurant was closed on Sunday. Dtaff polite and helpfull.
City small and beautiful.
The location was fantastic! Not too far from the centre of Orange and the house was absolutely beautiful. Very clean, private and great facilities. It felt like a home stay not a hotel. Our room even had a view of the Roman Arc de Triomphe!
Our host was lovely, very friendly and super helpful.
Charming family run hotel. Rooms small but adequately furnished with a modern en-suite. Owners very helpful. Parking on the premises for a fee. Good breakfast. The location is about 5 minutes walk from the antique theatre, and the park gardens are just behind (and above).
This hotel just had that little something that made it special for us. maybe it's because it was typically french or that it was family run by wonderful friendly people, I don't really know but we loved our stay here
The owners were very amicable and helpful at all times. The hotel is in a great, central location in town and is very clean and comfortable. Would recommend it. Breakfast was also nice and at a reasonable price.
We thoroughly enjoyed the pool. The family owners who live on the property were friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Breakfast was good and the access to Orange and all its attractions very convenient.
Very good. We’ve been there before repair, now it is even better. Dinner was very good. Breakfast is excellent. Even equal to German hotels. Cheese plate is one of the best
the first girl that helped us was very friendly
dogs are allowed at the hotel
close by a McDonald’s, so it’s easy to grab a snack when their restaurant is closed
Very cozy hotel in city center. Great rooms and beds, very clean. Nice breakfast in terrace. Very silent at night so great sleep. Great bathroom and shower!
Location was good near highway. Breakfast was horrible. Parking was ok, at least the area is gated. The hotel is shabby, 2 star but promoted as 3 star.
