Everything was perfect. Spacious house, heated for our arrival, well equipped, well stocked for coffee, tea and breakfast.
And a delightful friendly hostess.

The town is quite sleepy and shops/restaurants close early but we anticipated spending most (if not all) of our time at the castle. Aldi's and Carrefour are 5 minutes down the road so we ended up spending less than 50 euros for all 3 of us for dinner just buying wine (under 2 euro at Aldi), cheeses, hams, and baguettes - you really can't get cheaper than that and it was so tasty.
