Our hosts were wonderful: welcoming, with friendly information and respectful of privacy all at once. The dog was adorable, the cat sweet, and even the chickens behaved politely: they said hello from a comfy distance and stayed quiet all night through late morning.
The recently renovated home is located about 300m across the road and RR tracks from a quaint town that appears to be in process of becoming a thriving hub for both expat retirees and younger french families.

Demeure du Vallon is a charming place to stay! Fiona and Lionel have done an amazing job with the property. We wished our stay was longer to enjoy everything the property has to offer! It's a nice and cosy little place. The room was very comfy, clean and spacious with all the amenities included. There was parking nearby. Had a very good stay. Would recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Lascaux. It takes just a short walk to reach the Lascaux IV.
