OMG - where do I start?? This place modestly calls itself a 'villa', but it is rather a manor inside a huge, beautiful, walled-in park, in the picturesque tiny village of Annebecq, part of Landelles-et-Coupigny. And for everything that is being offered, it is such a bargain! You definitely get *more* than what you pay for, and that is rare to find these days. The place is spectacular, the decoration is spectacular, and the hosts Aurélie and Alexandre are spectacular. You want to literally go out of your way, i.e. off the highway from Caen to St. Malo, just for the chance to stay with them! And your pets are welcome, too. Aurélie and Alexandre are simply fantastic hosts, and their manor is beautifully renovated and decorated by *themselves*, also featuring countless artefacts from Aurélie's many travels around the world, with lots of surprising detail. Everything is meticulously clean. The beds are big, the mattresses are superbly comfortable, the number of pillows is generous, and the sheets are exquisite - not at all the usual 'cheap stuff'. The air out there is simply wonderful at night and in the morning. Breakfast is served by Alexandre, who personally looks after your coffee and fresh croissants. Aurélie and Alexandre are happy to chat with you, be it over breakfast or after you come home in the evening, and they are warm, welcoming, interesting people who moved over from Paris just a couple of years ago. They both worked in service industries, so they really know how to host. So what am I saying? You don't want to miss Landelles-et-Coupigny, simply for the chance to stay with Aurélie and Alexandre at Villa Mon Repos in Annebecq, part of Landelles-et-Coupigny. And check out their place for potentially celebrating a birthday or an anniversary as a bunch of friends or a family there - it sleeps 12 people.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful room! The room is very large, spacious and pretty - even better than you can tell from the pictures. Our hosts were very kind and welcoming. Also, definitely get the breakfast.
