Good enough for a two night stay in Blois which is a very pretty small town with an excellent palace-museum. All within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is not overly charming but perfectly functional.

Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Plenty of parking spaces. There was indeed a separate toilet room and normal shower with a door. Hot water/ pressure very good. Breakfast was exactly what we needed: Coffee, croissants, muesli, jams, homemade honey, fruit. For a 2-star hotel, this place exceeded our expectations.

The hotel is located in front of the Blois train station and it is within reasonable walking distance of the center (unless you are old, as the town’s slopes are quite steep). The staff was very helpful and the room overall was clean and comfortable.

Liked least- no boulangerie in village so needed a short car journey each morning to get the fresh bread and croissants.
