Hotel owner, Marie, was very welcoming and very helpful in making dining recommendations and reservations. I especially liked how quiet the hotel was and relaxing. The breakfast was very nice.

The breakfasts were very good. The dinner was superb, good portions and and a very good value. I was the best I had in Arbois ( and I went to some fancy restaurants. )

Great location... Restaurant was the best meat we had in France!

Everything was here in one place..including restaurant. Being next to waterfall was a treat to hear and watch.

Beautiful location with very friendly staff. Nice swimming pools and lots to see in the area. Breakfast is good and diner is excellent, the hotel has a young and brilliant chef. The view from the restaurant is very nice and together with the food it is a perfect match.

It was centrally located, the room was large and spotlessly clean. Jesse was pleasant and accommodating with excellent dining suggestions. We can’t say enough about Carmel 1643.
