We arrived greeted nicely by Alex the trainee. Unfortunately the room they gave us had the wrong bathroom configuration. We required walk in shower. To their credit Denis and Alex changed our room with a king sized bed and walk in shower.
Our first night was uncomfortable because the bathroom ventilation was non existent. The air conditioning was sub par too . Our bed fabric base cover and main cover made us sweat during our sleep. We both woke up each morning needing another shower. Our towels were not replaced either from our other morning shower. This is a standard requirement for any hospitality establishment to change towels for freshly cleaned towels. The breakfast on the day we actually walked out was completely unacceptable . The staff had no idea. They had a sign in front of juice “Apple juice” it was Lemon juice tart we told the helpful girl to try it. She did and rolled her eyes and said sorry we will change immediately. It’s amazing how the day before at breakfast was wonderful. But the 2nd day at Breakfast we were surrounded by staff who didn’t care. Only 1 staff member was brilliant, provided exceptional customer service and young girl her name escapes my memory. She was the only female working at breakfast the two days we attended. The pool area was loud with doof doof music completely divorced of what was appropriate music. The day we wanted to swim they shut the pool down. It strikes me that an established name in Hotels and In the Hospitality Industry provided Extreme Below Standard Accommodation in a beautiful town Aix-en-Provence. A complete disaster and disgrace. The advertising on Booking.com promotes this establishment as “ Top Shelf Accommodation “.
A complete lie ! Misleading and Deceptive Behaviour by a Hotel Chain. I’d Strongly Suggest that Booking.com investigate our experience, change the advertising to be truthful and REFUND OUR MONEY.
Completely Unacceptable !

Very good location, underground car parking is 150m, the room was not big but comfortable enough, good value for money.
