Demeure du Vallon is a charming place to stay! Fiona and Lionel have done an amazing job with the property. We wished our stay was longer to enjoy everything the property has to offer! We definitely recommend this property and will look forward to returning!. It is a great place to organize a group trip or family reunion! The bed was very comfortable, spacious room and bathroom. Beautiful building that is very nicely renovated and decorated. We had an interesting experience. I didn't notice when we booked that the restaurant is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. We booked a Monday night stay. After I inquired about other places to eat,the hotel gave us two recommendations for two nearby restaurants. Unfortunately, the day we arrived all restaurants in the village were closed due to a festival. Only open restaurant was a 30 minute drive away. We opted to go without dinner. The hosts were very very apologetic and clearly distressed by the situation. We received a complimentary split of champagne as a nice gesture. We booked breakfast the next morning which was very good. The server was quite charming and helpful. We enjoyed the salon which was quite comfortable and very beautifully decorated, and we are curious to return sometime when the restaurant is open. :)
