This is a spacious, very pleasant facility with a lot of room - it used to be a barn at one stage and has been completely refitted into being what it is now. It is very comfortable.
The woman who manages it was pleasant and helpful, and brought us an adequate breakfast in the morning.
Parking is on the street just outside the unit and is free.

My daughter's family, travelling separately to my wife and I, were involved in a traffic incident - fortunately all parties appeared to be okay at the time - which meant that we had to unexpectedly take our grandchildren with us so that they could sort out their vehicle, which could not be driven, and manage their onward journey without the added stress of young children. We arrived at this property with out additional two guests (aged six and one-and-a-half). The hosts were incredibly supportive and helpful and whilst our stay wasn't as we had expected it was managed so well and without fuss that I cannot express our appreciation and gratitude sufficiently. Other than the above, the location was lovely, in the village of Cormeilles, and we had a nice dinner at a lovely restaurant. The property was delightful, our room was perfect and the breakfast delicious. Thank you so much.

The location is a short drive from Le Brevident campsite where we were meeting friends. You really need a car. It is a country gite with a couple of other gites rented out. Loved the geese next door and the friendly moggy. Just what we needed to unwind. We took a hair drier, toiletries and food supplies so we were very comfy. We would happily rent this again.

The chalet was perfect, very clean and comfortable and very well equipped. We could eat inside or outside on the veranda. There was a grassy area in front of the chalet where our 2 year-old could play safely. The proprietors (who live on the spot) very kindly lent us a big box of plastic trucks and diggers for the little boy to play with. The chalet is distant from the main road which added to our sense of security for the child, and, of course, it made for a peaceful stay. We were ideally located to visit the coast at Villers-sur-Mer, Lisieux (the neighbouring town) and Pont l'Evêque and yet further afield had our stay been longer. The countryside in Normandy is green and undulating, we didn't want to go home and would return to the chalet in Normandy without any hesitation! It is indispensable to have a car.
