Excellent stay! The staff is extremely amiable and accommodating. They helped us with our huge car, many thanks for their understanding. Recommend taking the dinner, it was very good.

We travel a lot and had many nice accommodations but we have never experienced such a warm welcome as we received from Céline! She is so kind that you just have to feel welcomed in here place. Our room, as well as the entire property, was beautiful, clean, full of nice details and (more than we expected) equipped with everything needed for a perfect stay. We only spent one night here but we hope to come back again. Small gym as well as a sauna are available within the accommodation (book in advance if you want to use sauna). Thank you Céline one more time for everything, until next time 🤗

This is the most beautiful place to stay, the mother and daughter hosts are so friendly, kind and helpful. The rooms are immaculate, a really wonderful seating area upstairs for our own use and what I particularly liked over two evenings was the welcoming use of the house kitchen to cook our meals. Fab fab fab.

I was so looking forward to staying in one of the quiet cottages in a garden setting as shown in the pictures of my booking. However I was put in a tiny room in the main hotel with a view of a busy road. It was smelly with cooking smells so I had to open the outside doors with the sound of traffic all night. The music from the restaurant downstairs came through the floor. They did turn the volume down when I asked. The advertised pictures are very misleading. There should be an option to guarantee a cottage when booking. I paid an inflated weekend price for a very mediocre room that was noisy. The rest of the hotel is very nice. I was able to store my bike in a shed.
This hotel is located in the heart of Avranches, 750 metres from the Jardin des Plantes and less than a 5-minute drive from motorway A84. It offers free Wi-Fi access.

Nice budget hotel on the edge of the centre, comfortable room, helpful staff
Ducey is very well located - near Mont St. Michel, close to the main road north, and a great place to break the journey from further south to Cherbourg.
The only disadvantage is that the town itself, while very lovely, is very quiet and there are very few places to eat in the evening.

I booked this hotel because of its connection to Best Western however we were disappointed .... There was no shower gel in the dispenser - we had to get someone to fill it up. There was no hot water to take a shower in the morning. The bathroom was very small and very awkward. There were very strong winds during the night which disturbed our sleep as the windows do not seem to be double glazed and there was something flapping in the wind. Breakfast was good although there was no toaster ! Pretty location and very close to Mont St Michel.

Just rooms were some what dated and need decorating, was a plug in electric heater in the room, presume the other radiators did not work. Overall on but i have stayed in much better for the price. Big plus was watching the wildlife on the river whilst taking early morning coffee. Excellent outlook.

We only had one night as this was a stop over from our holiday in South West France, but it’s always a pleasure to stay here. Ducey is such a pretty village with places to eat in a lovely setting. We also enjoy going into Avranches which is just one junction up on the main road.
Really attractive little apartment with modern decor, an exceptional standard of cleanliness, and good facilities. Location is very central, just 2 doors from boulangerie, and 5 mins from centre of Ducey, which is a very nice little village. All the appliances you can imagine and more! The kitchen was great and we whipped up some great meals at our own convenience. Peaceful outside space in the back to enjoy the sunshine, and so handy having the washer and dryer to refresh our travelling clothes before heading home.
Lovely place in a tranquil and nice location. Hosts are very nice and special! Céline was one of the best hosts I ever met!
I was positively surprised by the attention of this hotel owners and felt myself a valued guest. E.g. there are some good brands items in the rooms, and a quality shower gel etc. There is a good gym as well.
It felt like owners are not just running business, but enjoy what they are doing and looking to exceed expectations! So rare and commendable.
La Rose de Ducey was a pleasant discovery. The apartment was carefully renovated in accordance with the history of the place. Location was at comfortable distance from Mont Saint Michel Our apartment was extremely clean and comfortable. M.me Nathalie has been a great host and put a lot of effort to make the place lovely and comfortable to her guests. Worth mentioning the garden with plenty of selected and rare roses. Strongly recommended.
We’re surprised by how nice is this property and the hospitality of the owner, Nathalie. Everything in this house is well chosen, decorated and maintained with great attention to the details. The bedroom is very comfortable and quite. And the breakfast awesome. Also, it is very well located in the heart of Ducey. Nathalie, it has been a pleasure to stay in your home. Many thanks
Perfect location for us, not too far from St Malo and our ferry home. Lovely little town although not much open. Hotel was very clean and modern, we had a nice spacious bright corner room for three. We booked for dinner and had a delicious meal (you order before dinner time if possible as all prepared and cooked to order). Really nice hotel and would stay again!
Hotel is very clean and all the staff are FANTASTIC. They are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The WiFi is very good and it was great to have a kettle in the bedroom. There is really good parking opposite the hotel. The food both breakfast and evening meal was really good. The town with lots of restaurants and bars was an easy walk from the hotel.
We had a lovely stay at the Rose of Doucy. The room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast was delicious. The property was an easy drive to Mont Saint Michel. The host Nathalie had good advice on our planned trip through Normandy. Highly recommend to any traveler!
Highly recommended! Super friendly hosts. Very comfortable beds. Nicely decorated home with a happy calm feel. Lovely location at the edge of Ducey. Close to a little river, beautiful trees and countryside. Great breakfast. What more do you want..
Our stay at Ducey B&B felt just like home. Very friendly host, fantastic facilities, parking for our car, everythig was perfect! Traditional French breakfast and chat with other guests is something that marked our trip!
Location lovely and quiet. Ducey is a very pretty little town. Enables us to split our journey to give respite from driving. Breakfast and evening meal both superb. Second year we have stayed at this hotel.
The staff was so friendly to us and we were so tired so it made a big impression on us! Stay nice in Ducey! We also went to the pizzeria and pharmacie in Ducey and again: SO so nice and helpful!
Our room had a lovely view of the bridge, the staff were very helpful and courteous and the breakfast was great. The parking was excellent and the location of the hotel excellent.
