I only arrived in Dax at 11 PM on a Tuesday and was happy to find a bar open to grab a beer. Just staying for the night, but walked the old city the following day to get a glimpse. Very close to the center of town, to restaurants and all kinds of shops. The hostess is very friendly and goes out of their way to make you comfortable and happy. There is a great supermarket about two blocks away that carries multiple varieties of items including clothing, house items and pharmacy.

The staff is very accommodating and friendly. We were on bicycles and were able to store them securely in baggage room. The rooms are spacious, the beds super comfortable. The bathrobes and slippers added a touch of luxury. We highly recommend this hotel.
