Philippe and Marie Cristine are wonderful host! They welcomed us like loving grandparents (we travelled with our baby 7 months old). Breakfast really super with homemade jam, fresh strawberries and other delicious things :)

Cucuron has a beautiful big manmade pond / bassin in the city center that is surrounded by really tall Plane trees. It is stunning in the day and spectacular when all lit up at night. There are several bars and restaurants around the pond from which to choose (we avoided some due to bad reviews). Play it safe and get reservations as we saw people get turned away. We chose a Monday night because they have a very nice market on Tuesday mornings. You can take a walk around the old village and see where it was a fortified village at one time. One day and evening was plenty for us to see and do what we wanted.

Beautiful views surround the quaint village of Cucuron, exceptional food and drink are served in the restaurants within the village. The people are friendly and always willing to help. Le Petite Maison & Matcha serve highly rated food on the evenings. Le Cercle de cucuron serve amazing lunch menu, great price and friendly atmosphere! The bakery is great for a morning snack! Lots of great hiking trails but would recommend hiring a car to travel from small town to town! We visited the cinema which was lovely too! The basin on water in the centre of the village is truly remarkable, such a lovely view to enjoy food and drinks around. L’etang Restaurant is right by the basin of water and serves the most beautiful fish I have ever eaten, would highly recommend.MarnieUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Cucron is a really friendly town with all the amenities you could require during a vacation - shop, restaurants, boulangerie etc. There is a weekly market plus when we stayed there was a night market with a carnival atmosphere.SeanUnited Kingdom

The central location also means it’s a bit tricky to reach by car, but the free parking location is quite close by (+- 5 min walking). The restaurant is also nice and very conveniently located directly on the ground floor of the hotel. We liked to explore the Provence during the day and then come back to Cucuron at the end of the day and have dinner in town!
