Nelly and Julien were such friendly and accomodating hosts! The location was very close to the beach and walking distance to many restaurants. We rented surfboards and walked right down to the beach. The rooms and common areas were very clean and there is a huge yard to relax in. For a small fee, Nelly was able to do some laundry for us which was a huge bonus for us. I would love to stay here again.

lovely little hotel close to other shops and restaurants. We were on a bike tour and they accomodated our bikes in a locked garage (that we also locked our bikes once inside.) Breakfast was nice

A modern town of beach cottages about an hour outside Bordeaux. We found the beach to be wonderful, although this area is normally prone to windy and choppy conditions. Great for kite surfing. MY only disappointment was the lack of extensive hiking trails in the forest nearby. There were some good trails heading inland to Biscarosse-Lac, but most trails to the north or south are restricted for the military bases.DAVIDUnited States of America - 6.0Scored 6.0

Parking difficult in town, did not see the beach. No restaurants for lunch near the hotel. Hotel was not open for lunch during our stay. Would not visit this town again. Not good for older people like us as any parking places found would involve a walk of some distance.

Lovely place, great beach, plenty of restaurants and shops. We were self catering but still enjoyed the patisseries, etc - easy to get around and bikes available to hire for those who'd like to cycle further afield. We took the car to the dune de Pilat which is well worth a visit and also the nearby lakes which are beautifulCarlaUnited Kingdom
