Northern Gateway to Paris
Beauvais is a small town located 80 km north of Paris, in the French region of Picardy. Though its ancient origins and quaint atmosphere, the city has only recently become popular due to its airport. The city was inhabited by Gallic tribes, and it was known as Caesaromagus by the Romans.
