The house was beautiful. The hosts were delightful and helpful. The location was idyllic. I previously wrote a negative review which was for another hotel in Laon. This was a mistake. I apologise for any problem this might have caused.

Natural creative space, host is friendly & helpful with suggesting places of interest to visit and places to eat. The room was spacious & the home is well situated for easy access to surrounding villages of interest. Enjoyed the home made scones.

Incredible building, very special. . Spacious room that might be described as a "PERIOD REPLICA". or most likely is ORIGINAL. . LUXURY plus bathroom. . Wonderful welcome by the host. Very helpful in finding a late booking for a restaurant . The further negative comments did not detract from what we liked.

We were greeted with a glass of local wine by the vivacious Marie-Noelle. Our room was great, a very comfortable bed and a nice ensuite. Beautiful gardens and a pool. Breakfast was delicious, with a good variety. We were only 5 minutes walk to the beautiful Medieval village and its restaurants. Highly recommend this as a base to explore the surrounding area.

The host, Christophe, welcomed us warmly, a very pleasant conversationalist, helpful in everything, polite, built a special place, with a lot of investment, beliefs, pictures, statues, cute cats, very talented, we sat and talked over a glass of wine, helped me fix a problem with the car. Julie is an amazing host. She greeted us with a smile and a cold drink on a hot day. Everything we needed was at the apartment. Excellent restaurant booked for us by the host. Nothing was too much trouble.
