Our original room was on the sunny side of the building and without air conditioning it was unbearably hot so the staff upgraded us to a cooler and much larger room. The WiFi was fast, easy to use and reliable. Although the dinner menu was limited it was good quality, tasty and reasonably priced (for Scandinavia). The hotel is in a great location with direct access to walking paths around the lake and easy walking distance to the town centre. The parking is free and easy to access.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. My room was clean, very modern and the bed was extremely comfy. I really didn't want to leave. Lunch and dinner in the downstairs restaurant were outstanding. Something I would have expected to find in a big city.

The apartment is located a few hundred meters from the central street of Kajaani. Pekka Heikkinen bakery is just around the corner which has excellent breads, pastries and coffee (with free refills!).
